What's new with Steno Talk? We've been busy studying for written exams, and taking depositions over Zoom for the first time! So much can happen during a depo; you can have to interrupt either/both parties, you can lose audio, you have to swear everybody in, and you have to maintain the record. It's all quite a bit to take in.
The bulk of the episode will go over speed building and the many ways to go about it and what worked for us. We talk about progressing and not progressing, changing theories, study patterns, taking speed tests, and what it takes to build speed. Being. "stuck." is. not. bad. (Say that again.) We all have a full life to live that includes children, relationships, and work, so, we'll talk about how we've managed to make the adjustments needed to make progress. Even if you do end up taking a break, quitting, coming back, whatever... you can gain a ton of inspiration from this episode!
As always, we take the time to answer your questions as well as share advice from @sarah_e_murphy!
