The blended family and its quirks provide plenty of opportunity to grow and improve within our respective role, and as a person. This is especially the case for step-parents, and I can say that from experience! We tend to need a pep-talk and to be reminded about the things that really make the difference, so listen in on a couple of things that I've learned that continue to prove themselves useful.
