The seed for this interview was planted all the way back in 2010 on the Channel 10 TV show The Panel in which Steve interviewed James Podsiadly as a mature AFL recruit for Geelong who had married into the Middleton family of Mount Mary fame in the Yarra Valley. Steve has great taste when it comes to drinking wine and spirits and is pretty good in the kitchen too (when time permits). For a bloke who loves and understands Italian wine, he's long overdue for a trip 'Al Bel Paese' which will be remedied early in 2023.
