  • (#29) Failure is a part of life

There are lots of cliche sayings out there that people throw away as simply cliches, but I don't!

I do believe everything happens for a reason. I also believe that life happens for us, not to us. When we find ourselves dealing with a hardship, it's ok because that hardship is there to teach us a lesson so that we can reach our highest potential.

Recently I've dealt with money woes and I share how I'm leaning into what is happening, how I'm feeling and learning from the situation.

If you're at a crossroads in your life, hesitating to make a decision, or dealing with a hardship then take a listen and learn from my experiences and my story.

  • (#24) How can you "Lean In" as a working mom

Sheryl Sandberg wrote the book "Lean In" in 2013 and it's focus is on telling stories, but also providing factual data about women in the workforce.

What does this mean for the working mom?

I believe we need more women leaders in our world to create real and lasting change. I also believe you should never lean in if it doesn't feel right, or simply because you think you should.

In this episode I talk about when you should and shouldn't lean in as a working mom, and that it's ok to lean in, but in a different direction.

  • (#21) You are in control of your emotions

Your emotions are your guidance system, and they let you know whether you are moving towards a life that is positive and fulfilling, or one that is negative and burdensome.

We are in control of our emotions. It is not our responsibility to control how others act or behave, but we must take control of how we react to others and situations. This is not to say it's easy to control our emotions, but it is worth the work to do so because being in control of whether you feel happy or sad is life changing.

During this podcast I talk about how I am learning to control my emotions, and how it's positively affecting my life and that of my family.
