The breakthrough raises expectations for treating the deadliest form of skin cancer and shows the promise of the embattled mRNA technology.
- Crowdstrike (CRWD) shares fell after Axios reported the company chief technology officer is departing to start an AI-cyber fund. Current CTO Elia Zaitsev's new venture firm is reportedly targeting a $170 million fund.
- Estée Lauder (EL) shares soared after the beauty conglomerate ended a run of three straight declines in annual revenue, reinforcing that turnaround efforts are paying off. The shares closed 16% higher in New York on Wednesday, the biggest daily gain since 2011. The advance pared the stock’s year-do-date decline to 6%.

The financing may include a roughly $30 billion junior debt tranche and a senior-secured tranche that could range from about $60 billion to $70 billion. The potential deal would help firms including Anthropic access chips and other key AI infrastructure, with talks ongoing and details subject to change.
