Having great mentors and guides is great, and a necessary element to success.  But if you were lucky enough to have great guidance as you grew up, make sure that the guidance that served you back then is still applicable to your current day goals.   If you're operating from an old playbook you will not reach new goals.  While what got you here worked to get you to this moment, have you sought out the proper mentors and teachers to get you where you want to go now?
