Technology is the leading force of our society, its powerful, accessible features grants anyone the power to influence ideas, structures, and policy at a rapid rate. With my experience in arts & entertainment, hospitality, human instruction and study, I plan to allow my skill in software to build something focused on redefining the global idea of living and creating; influencing fruitful, invigorating lifestyles.

What I love about this field is manipulating data to come up with creative solutions to complex problems and showcasing my style designing the images, colors, and layouts for the applications I create. I see web development as an exciting opportunity to create products to entertain, share knowledge, and combat global issues.

Prior to beginning my journey in software development, I was working as an Echo/vascular technologist in the healthcare field. I enjoyed the opportunity that healthcare gave me to help others and make a difference in peoples' lives. It allowed me to solve complex problems using logic while working in a team environment. When a family member introduced me to software development, I realized that the tech field would allow me to continue to use those skills I enjoyed, while not being so physically wearing on my body. This started my love of software that has continued to grow with every new technology I encounter.

I have spent most my life pursuing vocational ministry. Though I will always love my vocational work, economically the positions I were working could not meet basic economic needs. After doing some research, I applied to Nashville Software School. I signed up and in May 2019 and I wrote my first line of code. I was intrigued, fascinated, and knew I wanted to learn more. I like that development allows me to continuously learn and be challenged. The more I dive into development excited I am to begin my career as a Software Developer.
