In this week’s episode, I'll be sharing true stories from real people who have invited something inhuman into their space.

The spirits that inhabit the land are often overlooked in conversations regarding ghosts and the paranormal, but they’re a very present aspect of everyday life, especially in the Philippines. 

So for this week’s episode, I’d like to share true stories from real people who have had encounters with spirits of the land in the Philippines.

Are you afraid of the water? (As a non-swimmer, I am) In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing true stories from real people who have witnessed a haunting that was created from a death in the water. 

Ch 1 - The woman on the bridge, submitted by Christine. I narrate the account of 2 people in the Philippines who witnessed a floating apparition on a bridge.

Ch 2 - The graduate, submitted by Chen. I recount the time a professor witnessed a former student where she shouldn’t be.

The episode that went live last week featured a very creepy story from Marissa Angelique about a haunted home in northern California. So on this week's bonus episode, I revisit 2 of my favorite haunted home stories from past episodes. First, I read a true story about a fishpond business in the Philippines that houses a spirit that refuses to leave. Then, I share another story from the Philippines about a girl who kept getting blamed for things a spirit was doing in their home.

Marissa Angelique, a professional dancer from the bay area of CA, reached out to me after seeing me on Paranormal Nightshift, a series where real people share their most terrifying paranormal encounters while working the nightshift. The show brought back memories for Marissa, as she had her own horrifying experiences working nights as a babysitter and housesitter for a family in 2017. A hot topic right now is the ethics of AI generated images and audio. What these programs are able to mimic can be scarily accurate. But this type of trickery has been going on for a long time…by spirits. People all over the world have been reporting seeing or hearing family or friends in places they actually weren’t. Spirits have already been doing what we fear AI will do in the future.

So for this week’s episode, I wanted to share true stories from real people who have been targets of a spirit mimicking someone they knew, just to show you how common this phenomenon is. 

First, I tell the tale of a community in St Lucia haunted by a mysterious wolf.

Then, I narrate the account of a girl who thought she was being tucked into bed by her father.

Next, I recall the times a kid witnessed an entity mimic the members of his family.

And finally, I read the experience of a person who had a close call with shapeshifting creatures at camp.
