It is easy to get lost in the story of Scripture. The Bible is 66 books, written over 1500 years, by 40 different authors, in 3 different languages, and in 3 different continents. It was written in a different time, culture, and even writing style. Yet the Bible is one simple story that centers on, climaxes, and culminates with Jesus Christ.
Journey with us from beginning to end as we explore the story of the Bible in less than 20 minutes.

In SEASON TWO, the story picks up as we journey from Genesis 12 through Deuteronomy focusing in on God’s people.
We will begin by journeying through the life of Abraham and his sons. Then move through the Exodus account and God’s deliverance of his people from Egypt. In short, we will look at how one man (Abram) became a nation (the Israelites). More than that, we will see how this family fits into the larger story of Scripture leading to Jesus.
Throughout the season we will pause and hit on certain themes such as worship and God's creativity, tracing them from creation, to the cross, and into the culmination of all things in eternity.
So join us as we talk through God’s People in Season Two of Storyverse Podcast.

How does creation and the theory of evolution align? Who was Cain's wife? Did animals talk before the fall? In this episode we reflect on the first movement in Scripture, God’s Creation, by answering some of the questions we received (and some questions of our own).

Genesis 10-11.
What happens when mankind tries to build paradise apart from God? In short, we create hell on earth. Babel is an anti-Eden account, a complete reversal of God's desire for mankind. Where we build our little sandcastles of success and security, God invites us into his eternal salvation and kingdom where Jesus reigns forever.

Genesis 4-5.
Two men. Two paths. Two choices. Two very different outcomes. In Genesis 4 & 5, we see what becomes of humanity once they leave the Garden of Eden. The story focuses in on two brothers. Both are given a choice either trust God or trust themselves. From their decision, we see two very different legacies. This leaves us with the question: which path will we take?

Genesis 3:7-24.
What does God do when he walks in on utter sin? Many believe that God would erupt in anger or grow distant in apathy. Yet God does... what only God would do. In the midst of utter sin and chaos, God moves towards the brokenness. In Genesis 3, we see God's response to mankind's sin. He draws man out. He ask questions. Ultimately, he declares a promise that he will send a hero to make all things right again. In this episode we explore God's response to sin then and his response to our own sin today.
