Instead of having a 2,000 page bill that nobody reads, if they tell you they read it, they'll lie to you. Right. And everything that the services in or the staff puts in there have every consequential matter stand on its own, a bill for every particular issue.

But congress doesn't wanna do all that work. They don't think they're being paid enough even though it's being paid a 175,000 a year. They don't think they're getting paid enough to do all that. So they just stick them all in one big bill. And then to make sure that they have control, they appoint one person, the parliamentarian in the house or the senate, to determine whether it is what we call germane.

Germane means just that it's relative to the issue being discussed. And they have the sole authority to decide that. Can you imagine them giving that authority away to begin with? Well, I mean, why would we have a senate if we can just have one person who can make that call? I would agree.

You're now a a sergeant first class for most people that don't know. They have a DA photograph. Yep. And a lot of times when they're considering you for e eight, it's just gonna be they're gonna look at that photograph and they're gonna yes or no. They they have your jacket and everything else, but a lot of time comes down to a few things.

But once at your level, is this do you still need a congressional action to bust you? Not as a sergeant first class. Really? As an e eight. Yes.

That used used to be that way, sir, back in the good old days. Are you gonna stay are you gonna are you looking to be a first sergeant? That's my goal. Yeah. Yeah.

I get my first look next year. It'll put me at fourteen years fifteen years in the army. Wow. But, yeah, that's my that's my goal. So in terms of MOSs now, I know that right as I was getting out a lot of communications, MOSs were going away.

But I know there's still gotta be 11 bravos. I I know there's still gotta be or is the tow still even fielded? Tow ITAV? The the the tow missile? Yes.

But if you were a Tank Hill basic trainee, you were hard. And us in Hollywood, we were sitting there going, yeah. You guys go ahead and be hard. That's fine. You guys go ahead and be hard.

For a young man coming in today or a young lady for that matter, is the military still a good good career for them? Yes. A 100%. It's a very good career. A lot of the things that the army has implemented over the last couple of years has, given a lot of individuals that are looking to join Right.

Great opportunities to be able to use what they get in the army to be able to transfer that into the civilian life. So we actually have websites now where they can go on to called army cool, and it'll show every certification that you get in the army will transfer directly to the civilian market. That's new.
