Yeah. So, last last Friday on the thirteenth, we hosted the two hundred and fiftieth, army birthday here at the Rupert Hughes Veterans Center. We had a little over a 100, people in attendance, and we were able to recognize, because we had the, formal official army cake cutting ceremony. And so we had a captain Jones who turned a 102 on that Friday. So he was our oldest veteran there.

And then we had a younger, army vet as well. And so it was super cool. It was great turnout. And and other than that, I mean, we're just we're getting out there and we're trying to get a parachute, hung up inside the building, as a, a piece of heritage kinda like at Fort Benning, the home be out there in the entryway? Yes, sir.

Yes, sir. I saw the place to stick one up where it would actually mean anything, isn't it? Yeah. Exactly. So they want me to be up there.

They said I'm a paratroopers. The They want you to hang from the ceiling? Yeah. They do. They said everybody'd be able to see me now.

But, but I decided to stick with my Glock 40 with the long slide. Right. And, not that the other gun wasn't a great gun. I mean, the the trigger on it was really good. It was almost like a Glock at the beginning and then a sig at the wall.

It was it was really quite decent trigger and and other accessories and stuff. It was really good on it. But I think I'm just gonna go the, 10 millimeter ten ten millimeter PCC route and foldable, collapsible, you know, stuff from my truck and just and just pair those two Glock magazines together. Well, you know, that there's nothing wrong with that, you know, and and so far as doing that is concerned. I'm in the past, I have tried to sell a lot of guns.

And I think sometimes, if most people that own a lot of guns appreciate guns for what they are and they like having a lot of guns. So most people that just want to go for self defense, what I try to do is I try to get them not to buy the wrong thing the first time. Right. And in in terms of taking and putting something together for your truck like a 10 millimeter pistol caliber carbine, that's like the sweet spot. I mean, a 10 millimeter in a slightly longer barrel, depending on which one you pick out Mhmm.

Is is is epic. It's epic. And and the one the pistol I I have from 70 yards on my, three core, USPSA Steel's a and c zone only. Right. I mean, I I I just I just banged it.

The daylights out of that sign from 70 yards, so it's not like I can't shoot it. Right? Correct. Which one do you have? I have the, the Glock 40, the six inch long slide.

Oh, okay. Okay. So you don't have the pistol caliber carbine yet? No. That's I'm gonna do that instead of going the FN route.

I'm I'm hoping that something comes out in the next months that uses clock magazines in 10 ml, 10 millimeter. I'm I'm a medical device rep. I do milliliters. And, and, so I'm just hoping something new comes out at a price point in between, you know, not not $4.50, not 800, but maybe 600. Yeah.

That means you don't. I was gonna bring up Chris Vector, but, Chris Vectors are sort of expensive. And I'm I'm not I've never had one. I've never shot one in my the the the verdict's sort of still out for the on those for me. So but they they run, they do run Glock mags.

They have proprietary mags and Glock mags. But, they are they have in the past, but I mean, you're talking over a grand now. Yeah. And and I don't wanna spend that money just for a truck gun. Just like you said earlier, if you lose it, and they put it and pound it, you're not out a lot of money.

So I don't wanna put a $2,000 gun in my truck. One thing that's too bad, there used to be a company called MecTech. And MecTech made an upper that you could buy and you could take your Glock 10 millimeter and pull it off of the slide and the, and the barrel and put your lower frame Upper on. Glock switches. You hear a lot about Glock switches. They're not actually Glock switches. A a Glock is a it it it is a, part of the subset of handguns that are referred to as striker fired guns. They do not have a hammer.

So any gun that is striker fired could conceivably have the same sort of switch. The problem is the Glock on the back on the back plate, it is flat. Some of the other guns are curved. Some of the other guns are not as flat or taller or something like that. So everything out there made right now for the switches that go on to a striker fired gun to make it fully automatic or made for a Glock.

And, well, some of the some of the states, some of the anti gun states out there are doing something very, very stupid. I mean, it it's it's a it's astonishing how stupid it is. Is. New Mexico has adopted a weapon conversion device ban in February and in March. Alabama enacted a similar law to restrict possession of devices designed or intended to convert a pistol into a machine gun.

However, you don't really need to do that because it's already against federal law, but they did it anyway. New Jersey was also considering a bill to criminalize possession and sale of machine gun conversion devices, which are already criminalized. If I three d print a Glock switch and stick it on the back of my Glock, well, whoever printed it for me is gonna be in trouble and I'm gonna be in trouble. Under federal law, these little Glock switch thingies, they're already regulated in in the same way as a fully functional machine gun, you know, with with a barrel and, you know, a grip and magazine well and the full size gun. And simple possession of a fully automatic weapon including just that device is subject to very limited exceptions as part of the NFA and, if you don't pay your and all of the fully automatic weapons have to have been made by some arbitrary date in 1986.

So Glock switches which didn't exist in 1986 probably don't fall under something that would be allowed. Criminals who possess or use an auto seer in commission of any crime of violence or drug trafficking crime face enhanced penalties under federal law that include a minimum of thirty years imprisonment. And, you know, here's the other thing. When you put a Glock switch on a Glock and you pull the trigger on it and you empty the magazine, you can get something called I call it the happy stick. It's a 33 round magazine.

You You stick that in there. The 33 round is gonna be gone almost in an instant. And except for the first shot, everything else probably went over everything you're just shooting at. So when you're doing that, if you're actually using one of these things, then it's not just the other gang banger that they're aiming at that you gotta be concerned with. It's the houses and the people that are down the block and, you know, further down the street in line in line of sight.

So the justification to push to criminalize these under state law tends to be that regardless of the federal ban, they need to this then there's a need to empower state and local law enforcement to go after the criminals who illegally possess or use these. But okay. I I can go with that. I I can go with that indeed. But here's the problem.

Here's the problem with this. A lot of people are going after the guns themselves for being convertible, easily converted. Now for anybody that's been that has messed with semiautomatic guns for any amount of time, all of them, every single semiautomatic gun that you're aware about there today by some way or fashion has a capability of being fully automatic. Right? That that that's that's just the way it is.

And going after the guns because they could be converted, to me, is a very silly thing. It's a it's a waste of time. I wouldn't if if if they were legal, I wouldn't put one on one of my blocks. I wouldn't put one on any of them. I with my Glocks, I train with them enough to where I shoot them fast enough to where I've been asked by people at ...

Donald Trump, his decision to take the leap and throw six MOPs out there, over the weekend, was greeted by the usual foe outrage of the mob plagued by Trump derangement syndrome. If Donald Trump decided to only wear loafers, they would say he should only wear lace up shoes. Donald Trump only wanted to wear turtlenecks. He would have to have a button up shirt. It doesn't matter what he does.

He's wrong by virtue of being Donald Trump. And the outrage over his decision with this one is nothing but hypocrisy and it's it's grandstanding. And I'll tell you what makes him angry the most, this completely short circuit, their little, their little thing they were doing where they were all trying to get arrested. All the Democrats are trying to get arrested. So first, you have to have to understand, the train of events has led to this war between Israel and Iran, if you wanna call it that, over Iran's nuclear ambitions, which has been very much out there.

For most of the twenty first century, the prospect of a nuclear Iran has haunted America and Israel and most of the rest of the world. Two nations condemned to death and destruction by the Mullahs in Iran. As, you know, there's even been rhetorical agreements between Democrats and Republicans that a nuclear Iran is a grave threat to national security. But then the divergence happened. Trump, not Trump, Obama agreed to a nuclear treaty with Iran proclaiming it would halt the Iranian nuclear program, which was just, you know, he's buying them off.

Billions of dollars. He freed up billions of dollars and froze that for Iran, and they embarked on an aggressive tariff funding campaign with their proxies around the Middle East. And this was, they they called this the JCPOA. It was quickly violated by Iran in 2019 when the IAEA confirmed nothing was done. They weren't sticking with it.

So and nothing occurred as a as a consequence until now. Since the October, Israel has unleashed a devastating military military campaign against the terroristic enemies which is the proxies that Iran uses. Hamas, Hezbollah have been effectively destroyed. Bashar al Assad, the staunch ally of Iran is also gone. So with Iran's proxies dismantled and no longer having to face the specter of an Iranian backed Syria, Israel gets now to give all of their focus and attention to Iran And they are prompted to strike at Iran in the belief that Iran was weak and Iran was.

The weakness of Iran seen in its inability to counter what Israel did revealed to the world but especially to Donald Trump that their nuclear facilities were vulnerable. This this, you know, the fog of war was lifted. Fog of war was lifted by Israel's attack. Trump, who had previously said he would not allow Iran to ever get a nuclear bomb, seized the opportunity to launch the attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities that has shattered the credibility of the Mueller regime in Tehran. I'm I'm getting a lot of texts and messages on the text line.

It was quickly violated by Iran in 2019 when the IAEA confirmed nothing was done. They weren't sticking with it. So and nothing occurred as a as a consequence until now. That gives him the authority to use the military whenever he feels the need to to protect the citizens of The United States or his allies or the best interest of The United States.

And I I don't understand why these lawmakers aren't mandated that they take a test and pass a constitutional test before they can even run for congress. So it's not even their constitutional acumen that they run on. They run on the popularity contest and once they get into it, they have the power of the incumbency to help them try to stay there because that's really all it's about for them is to try to stay there. Yeah. And that's why they do it.

They do it to I mean, you've noticed the weird fetish of the Democrats. All of them now wanna get arrested by somebody. That is true. But, I do believe that, president Trump is not done with Iran. I believe that Iran is gonna be hit again and again and again until they finally scream uncle.

When you take a look back at Iran's response to the, takeout of Qasem Soleimani, they fired 22 missiles in total. 17 of those were targeted at Al Asad. The fact that Iran just fired six and this attack was much bigger than taking out a single person, and the fact that the ballistic missile attacks against Israel seem to be coming either in ones or twos or very small groups, is that a suggestion that Iran's ability to counterattack is greatly diminished? That's Well, it certainly diminished in terms of the longer range ballistic missiles that could hit Israel.

We've seen, Israel take out many of those longer range, mobile, missile launchers. They say that they've taken out up to two thirds of those As I'm watching the live feed Olympic missile together. Of nighttime at gutter. Iranian There's no ground fires. Of of There's, gutter range missiles and all Traffic moving around.

Much shorter flow Apparently, no ground impacts at all. Into The Gulf States where The US is based. Situation normal for Iranian bombardment. Have many other, weapons in their arsenal. They have anti ship missiles.

They're saying on Fox, it was twelve and, like I said, more than six, less than 20. And we sent stealth bombers deep into Iranian airspace, and they dropped their bunker busting ordinance on Fordo and Natanz. And Tomahawk missiles from US submarines hit command hubs and cyber nodes, and Pentagon officials high fived each other, confirmed zero American casualties, praised the mission's precision and deception.

Trump said, we will not allow a terror regime to go nuclear. Of course, the legacy media, which is nothing but a bunch of liars, they couldn't find the correct framing, and The US allies largely responded with cautious support. Israel was very high praise. France and Germany earned urge restraint, which they, you know, they're they're always restrained. They don't pay for nothing.

And Iran is expected, vowed retaliation with all kinds of verbally verb hyperbole. It'd be something like that. But then enter Thomas Massey of Kentucky. Now let me explain something to you, about this and why I have pro I have trouble with any congressman who's out there now wanting to hold the line in the name of what's right. When Thomas Massie came into office, our national debt in 2012 was $16,000,000,000,000.

And for all of this stuff that we hear from him, because he makes a lot of noise. And a lot of people sit back and go, oh, well, he's just so virtuous and he's he's trying to do what's right. He's never mentioned what Doge found. He's never mentioned the waste and the fraud and the the abuse. He's been in on some of the continuing resolutions, which have has funded a lot of this.

And in just thirteen years, we have added $20,000,000,000,000 to the national debt while he's been in congress. Not all of it his fault without a doubt. And I'm sure he has been out there, but, I mean, most of the stuff that he's doing and please understand this. Most of the stuff he's doing is simply so you know who he is instead of one of 435 people. And he has the same protest all the time.

He's spent years turning presidential action into personal rebellion. But this time, it looks a little more opportunistic. He's always positioned himself as Capitol Hill's last true constitutionalist. Whenever something complex arises, he hoists the parchment like a pirate flag and sails into controversy. And this week, he decided to cite article one section eight claiming only Congress has the authority to declare war.

Now in theory, his concern might deserve attention, but theory collapse, collapses under the weight of his selective memory because Barack Obama conducted 2,800 drone strikes. He was in office under Barack Obama 2012 forward, including unilateral campaigns in Libya, Somalia, and Pakistan. Thomas Massie knew he might have been. He was nowhere to be seen. When Obama used military force in Libya in 2011 without congressional authorization, even some legal scholars called it unconstitutional, Massey did not lead a bipartisan rebellion.

He did not file a war powers resolution. He remained silent. So the principle of congressional war declarations didn't bother him then. It only became a crisis when the commander in chief wore a red tie. And his objection might sound sort of semi patriotic, but it ignores two centuries of precedent.

The constitution names the president as commander in chief under Article two. This gives him the presidential authority, legal authority, lawful authority to respond to imminent threats of military force even without a formal declaration of war. Congress's power to declare war remains real and essential. However, we're talking limited military action, short term strikes, emergency operations, proportion proportional retaliation. This falls within the purview of the president.
