Join Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon as they delve into Netflix’s Stranger Things, the ‘80s-inspired sci-fi horror phenomenon created by the Duffer Brothers. In the town of Hawkins, Indiana, brave kids and determined adults confront supernatural forces unleashed from the mysterious Upside Down.

In Chapter Seven: “The Bathtub,” Joyce, Hopper, and Troy (Randy Havens) mobilize to build a makeshift sensory deprivation tank coated in Christmas lights—drawing Will Byers (Noah Schnapp, Bridge of Spies)’s pain in the Upside Down into a viscerally chilling vision. Eleven experiments with her telekinetic powers, using food shortcuts and a homemade gadget to remove anti‐psychotic tracker chips, setting the stage for her daring rescue.

Chapter Eight: “The Upside Down” delivers the season’s epic crescendo. Jonathan and Nancy’s tense stakeout leads to a heart-pounding schoolhouse Demogorgon encounter, while the kids, Hopper, and Joyce launch a desperate mission into the Upside Down to save Will. Millie Bobby Brown’s triumphant stand—closing the portal and guiding Will back—cements Eleven’s status as Hawkins’ heroic savior. Don’t miss the haunting final shot of the rotting Demogorgon’s egg, teasing the terror yet to come.
