The reason why it's so hard for most people to simplify their lives, is because it reveals to us our biggest discomforts and forces us to face the truth of our lives, and we have to ask ourselves, "are we ready for that?".
Our brains love to indulge in confusion despite how painful confusion feels. And the reason why we decide to stay in confusion is because the pain of the unknown far outweighs something much more familiar - confusion.
Learn how three simple suggestions to simplify our life, can help us not only get our time back so that we can focus on our biggest goals, but also give us the opportunity to finally see what we have been hiding from ourselves all along.

Stop.
Before you go back to where things were comfortable, I'm here to tell you this is a natural part of evolving into your future self and these are the thoughts I call: Next Level Thoughts.
These are the thoughts where, if not recognized instantly, most people turn around and give up on their dreams. Whether it's the dream career, role, partner, or weight.
If you're anything like me and my clients, and you love setting goals for yourself no matter the time of year, then you don't want to miss this episode where you'll discover how to instantly recognize Next Level Thoughts so that you can move beyond this moment and focus on achieving your dreams.

(2:45): If you love growth and expansion, then you inevitably come across Next Level Thoughts.
(3:50): Example of a client who moved to a new company in a new role and was having thoughts such as, " What if I'm not experienced enough for this role? I don't understand the standard operating procedures as well as I could do my job efficiently. This role requires me to speak in front of the board and I want to deal with the nervousness. Product and Sales are not set up for success and therefore makes my job much more difficult."
(5:04): Oftentimes a big reason why we feel stress is because we make having Next Level Thoughts a PROBLEM.
(6:20): Your brain's main job is to be as efficient as possible and work less so that it is ready to protect you in times of danger. And oftentimes any time we do anything NEW, our brains perceive that as dangerous.
(8:46): If we WANT to experience new things, we have to remember that we will be facing new challenges, and this includes new thought challenges.
(10:48): Having Next Level Thoughts doesn't mean something is wrong or that you're not on the right path.
(11:45): How to identify Next Level Thoughts so you can minimize the amount of time in fear and doubt.
A lot of people ask, "How can I get rid of this stress?" or "How can I think the right thoughts so that I don't feel negative about my co-worker?", and before we can tackle the situation itself we must do one thing FIRST… and that is to understand nothing is inherently wrong.
Backwards I know.
In this bonus episode on Stressproof, I'm discussing why intellectualizing our way into feeling good is never going to be a long term solution (especially if you truly care about living an expanded and authentic life), and the missing piece we must start incorporating into our lives so that we stop living on the surface... and start owning the truth of our very own human experience.

What if I told you that stress was created FOR you BY you, because somewhere deep down you believe it would help you? And what if I told you that your emotions, even stress, always has a positive intent?
In this episode I'm sharing with you a concept called Upcycling, and when we get skilled at applying this concept to our difficult emotions, we begin to transform what we believed to be negative experience into an opportunity to dive EVEN DEEPER into ourselves so that instead of experiencing stress the way we normally do… we begin to cultivate expansion, peace, and love.
Examples used in this podcast range from why we don't go for the promotion, why it's so hard to lose the last 8-10 pounds, and why you may still be single.

(5:58): What is the traditional definition of Upcycling?
(6:55): Emotions are vibrations in our body. Every emotion has a positive intent, even stress.
(8:16): The purpose behind the Emotional Release Method is two fold. 1. Process any and every emotion in a healthy way 2. Understand the positive intent behind the emotion as felt by the client.
(9:07): How the majority of people handle stress currently.
(11:06): How can an emotion like stress have a positive intent when our actions and behaviors don't reflect the result that we ultimately want?
(11:42): The human subconscious always has a positive intent. Every thought and feeling has a positive intent.
(13:41): The problem is never your behavior or your emotions. Your behavior and emotions only reflect back what you fundamentally believe deep down.
(14:16): Examples of beliefs that drive "unwanted" behavior or emotions but in actuality is a positive intent because of what you believe.
(15:30): When we apply the concept of Upcycling, we begin to practice the awareness of trying to identify the lesson and insight as to what our behavior and emotions are trying to tell us so that we can transform our stress into clarity, expansion, and peace.
(17:33): The next time you feel stressed, ask yourself this question, "What is REALLY going on here?", "What is my stress trying to tell me?".
(18:45): When you get skilled at Upcycling, you become the type of person that understands everything is happening FOR you.
Everyone would tell you that I had the perfect life, but on the inside I felt broken.
In this episode I share my Before & After of how this property of work around Brain & Emotional Management has not only changed my life, but the life of many others.
From breaking through bouts of depression, PMDD, binging, and eventual burnout and adrenal fatigue, I finally realized that no matter how much you change your outside world… you bring all of your old thoughts with you.
Until we learn how to think better thoughts and feel every single emotion, we will always be running away from our life, instead of experiencing the TRUTH of our life.
