Persona 5 took the franchise from critical darling to mainstream success. With it came several crossover opportunities. The first of which was a Musou-type spinoff that tried to blend the frenetic action hack and slash with Personas slower methodical storytelling. Second short review this week: this one tackles a long awaited remake of a classic series. Now intent on showing the finished product, Spice and Wolf returns with a different look, a different arc or two, but a lot of the same attention and care the original show possessed. It doesn't "replace" the original. It stands on its own as a different visual style. Double bill reviews this week. First up, a very dumb comedy about a very perverted guy doing odd jobs while surrounded by pretty girls. The weird thing is, the show is better at its premise and isn't shy about being really stupid and funny about it.
