Stuck In: A Farmers' League Soccer Podcast

Ugh, even jokingly putting out a click bait title makes me cringe.  Not sure how like the entire Internet does it on the reg and without reservation whatsoever.

As mentioned like a thousand times, we finally brought back interviews...and how!  International break and none of the games starting until this evening so doing just a straight up interview special episode.  Don't worry, you'll get to listen to me and Jared weep tears of inconsolable sadness on Monday when we get back on schedule and will indubitably be lamenting our pathetic loss to Mexico from Friday.  Enjoy and until then...

Like David of "after dentist" fame, we're kind of questioning our reality in today's episode.  Including, but not limited to, that now the two biggest clubs in the world are led by former club legends with minimal managerial experience amidst shambolic financial and otherwise situations, Wake Forest football is (ahem, was) top 10, and the fact that more than a combined twelve seconds has been spent on the MLS for not one but two consecutive episodes.

Welp, that was a quick turnaround!  Just when everyone was getting settled back into domestic league action, another set of international fixtures comes seemingly out of nowhere - maybe Arsene Wenger is onto something with that new schedule and only two of these windows per year...

I am begrudged to say the least, as I'm forced to recognize Portuguese superiority (begrudgingly, to be clear) and allow for a "preview" on the pod (also begrudgingly).  Only bright spot is that we're actually getting a ton of these fucking ass hats out of the women's game.
