We knew all the boxes on Boxing Day were supposed to be empty but the football?  All Premier League goals and entertainment crammed into two games while everyone else stumbled through the day and, surprise surprise, a bunch of the games were postponed.  So little to talk about we had to begrudgingly discuss transfer rumoUrs and even had to bring up the Turkish Super Lig again, and still nothing there...

…but then I got high.  It was a Festivus for the rest of us to remember as Jared and I recorded in the afternoon and I was melting into my couch by the early evening, and yeah well Afroman was right so I failed to deliver on our usual Thursday release day.  To top it all off, here I am now at 4 AM wide awake and figured I might as well just do it now.  (Because on Christmas you tell the truth, right?)

With the world burning down in front of our very eyes - what else would we do with our lives except argue about the merits of VAR (even though we're not a VAR podcast HARUMPH!), make jokes about Newcastle United, and talk to a philosophy professor about something as trivial as the French domestic league?  You might think there are more important things going on in the world so we shouldn't be wasting our time on this rubbish - and you'd probably be right - but I think there's one thing we can all agree on, and that is shit is never too real to take the mick out of Spurs.
