Well, EVERYTHING when it came to conceiving for Ebony Hibbert.  Today I am joined on the podcast by the beautiful and amazing Ebony Hibbert from The Fertility Balance who shares with us in-depth her incredible journey to conceiving.

Solo Motherhood is definitely a great option to starting a family for many women, and Ebony walks us through her journey of Egg Freezing at 36 to starting her solo journey at the age of 39 with all the pitfalls and challenges she endured along the way.

Are you ANGRY at your partner for not making lifestyle changes to improve your fertility outcomes?

I mean, you made a commitment together to have a baby.

But things didn't go as planned.  Now you are researching all the things that you can do to improve your fertility outcomes including lifestyle changes.

Maybe you have made a bunch of them but then you see your partner still seemingly doing whatever they want.

Or maybe they don't need to make changes but you do and they continue to eat and drink in front of you in a way that isn't supportive to your changes?

Whatever is going on, it can bring about a lot of ANGER and RESENTMENT!

So today, I wanted to talk about how to mitigate that anger so you can come together and actually make lifestyle changes together without it turning bitter.

I've always accepted about me that I'm about a woo and a half.  And not full woo-woo.

I have a very (hardcore) logical side to me but I've had one too many things happen in my life with energetic connections and weird things that have happened, including strong signs around me that it is too hard to ignore.

And quite frankly, I love it.  I got a LOT of signs on my fertility journey, that I didn't really recognise as such.  But they also kept me company and made me feel good - you'll see what I mean when you tune in!

But I think signs are something that we have to be careful about.  When we are in a place of fear and doubt about our baby, wondering if we will ever be mothers - we can be desperate for a sign from the universe.

We can read into things that are not there.  We can get superstitious.  And we can feel disillusioned when we think we get our signs and then find out we aren't pregnant.

So today on the podcast,  I talk in-depth about some of my experiences and then talk about ways to start to allow signs from the Universe into your own life in a way that is FUN and not FORCED.

If being diagnosed with infertility weren't bad enough and battling through the long journey to conceiving, what often comes with it is a serious sense of shame and guilt.

I spent many a waking moment blaming my teenage dieting antics for my problems.  Because I know during those years, I had pushed my body to its ultimate limits.

The longer a person goes on, the more diagnoses that might be piled on or even the lack of one, it can be guilt and shame around so many things.

From that heavy burden of feeling like it is your fault to that feeling of guilt every time you put something in your mouth that you don't think you are supposed to.

So today on the podcast, we will talk all about the varying ways that this guilt and shame creep into our fertility journeys and of course, why we do it!

So you may start to heal your heart and lighten your load just a little bit.

Unexplained  infertility has its own unique set of challenges.

When time after time you are told there is just NOTHING wrong - what then can you do to FIX anything?

Because when we can't conceive and it has been going on for years - we feel like we are physically broken, so how can we then have NOTHING wrong?

So with nothing wrong and nothing to focus on, it's then very easy to get obsessed with doing EVERYTHING and trying to find that one thing that will work and trying to find that one thing that IS wrong.

So today I explore the chaos and uncertainty this can create for us and also what I think makes a very big difference.

I've never had mine explained, so I get it.

Have you been listening to a million podcasts, absorbing a plethora of articles and basically still confused about how to stop feeling so overwhelmed whilst trying to conceive?

I know sometimes on the podcast, I present bigger concepts like unconscious conflicts and how true change happens at the level of identity, but sometimes that stuff can feel too out of reach when you just feel absolutely crap.

So today I wanted to focus on 7 very PRACTICAL ways you can stop feeling so overwhelmed that have made huge differences for my clients instantly.

Because when you can create a little more calm in your mind, body and soul then the bigger stuff seems easier to tackle.

And when you know what to do then you can implement it straight away without having to work it out in a moment when  you feel completely overwhelmed.

And that's the point, if you are feeling really overwhelmed, you won't figure it out because our brains literally shut of conscious and logic in that moment.

We've all heard it.  Stress is bad for you.  And by association stress is bad for your fertility.

At least, that is what we are left believing.  And so then when we get stressed at work, stressed about our fertility and stressed about everything we have to do, we start to feel guilty about feeling stressed, thinking we are ruining all our chances.

Well today I want to unravel the myth of stress and look more at what TYPE of stress you have in your life so we can start to see what stress we need to focus on in our lives and what stress is totally okay and not going to mess it all up.

So you can get back to just feeling stressed sometimes and not feeling stressed AND guilty.

And I'll cover the two ways that you can actually change your stress and then talk about how to be resourceful to actually change those stresses that you have identified that you might need to deal with.

Plus, I give you my biggest tip about what I actually mostly do with my clients that gives us the biggest wins.  And you know what, you don't have to have all your ducks in a row.

Considering IVF is not a light decision - mentally, emotionally or financially.  But when you have been struggling to conceive for so long, it can sometimes feel like both a life-line and that you are somehow a failure.

And it can definitely feel like a scary unknown.  But it doesn't have to be that way.

I have seen women both excited and terrified.  So when considering IVF you really do need to set yourself up right.

Because when done right, IVF can also be a rather wonderful experience.

Today I wanted to highlight for you 5 things I would consider before starting IVF to know if it is the right timing and the right decision for you.

And to change the narrative on IVF being somehow less than or something to be afraid of.
