Johann Sainéa Rubio has been imprisoned in Colombia since 2021, criminalized for participating in the popular uprising of that year. Since the far-right Abelardo de la Espriella government took control of the Colombian state, his situation — which was already very bad — has gotten even worse. The Colombian state is restricting food supplies, inflicting severe hunger and thirst in an attempt to undermine the health of Johann and others imprisoned across the country after fighting for dignity and freedom.
This year, to mark the International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners, we are issuing a call to help bring some relief to Johann and his comrades, by chipping in so that they can have dignified access to water and food.
As Johann says in his own words: “Solidarity is love and understanding transformed into action.”
To show your solidarity to Johann and his comrades, please donate any amount via:
Born out of the Korean diaspora in Manchuria escaping brutal Japanese colonial rule and in the power vacuum left in the wake of the assassination of the local warlord, the Korean Anarchist Federation in Manchuria existed against all odds.
The Korean Anarchist Federation in Manchuria would go on to merge with the Now People’s Government to form the Korean People's Association in Manchuria which at it’s peak organized 2 million people according to the anarchist principals of collective farming, arms training, free education and mutual aid.
The experiment survived for 2 years in the face of attacks by the Japanese, the Soviets and Marxist-Leninist Korean factions.
On Saturday June 21, a 23 year old anti-fascist was stabbed by a fascist in Göttingen, Germany. As a result of his injuries, he was in a coma for three days. The following Saturday, June 27th, 1,5000 anti-fascists took to the streets of Göttingen in a show of solidarity with their injured comrade.
Solidarity means attack!
The World Cup has come to so called North America and with it, corruption, gentrification, dispossession, and repression. From their conception to the present day, mega-sporting events have been used as powerful tools of social control. Activists and militants in the territories occupied by the state of Mexico have been organizing direct actions and have issued a call for a total boycott of the World Cup.

The neoliberal world order as we know it is collapsing under the weight of its own contradictions. But celebrations of its downfall are muted by the bleak reality of the world that is rising to take its place. Every day, our screens are flooded with images of war, genocide, and AI slop. And we all know we’re living in dark times.
So, what does this mean for us, and how do we move forward?

The power that could emerge from our coming together. The pooling of our efforts and our resources, through the interweaving of ropes, long and strong enough to allow us to hold together in the face of the challenges of our time. This is what we call Mujawara. A revolutionary neighbouring that we have already begun to weave from all these territories, these places, and popular powers born of our struggles.
And to inaugurate it, and to begin weaving this neighbouring that crosses borders, we will organize, across five continents and throughout the month of June, a series of internationalist actions within all these places born before or in the wake of our uprisings and maintained over the years despite every hardship.

The Greek state is planning the eviction of “Oi Prosfygika” in Athens, one of the largest self-organized housing communities in Europe. This space represents collective living, social projects, and resistance against displacement.
Since February 5, Aristotelis Chantzis has been on hunger strike. On May 1, Suzon Doppagne joined him. Both are protesting against the impending eviction and for the preservation of the community. But what exactly is Prosfygika?

For years, a massive decentralized network of neighborhood councils known as Resistance Committees has existed in the lands ruled by the state of Sudan. Anarchists in Sudan have been active participants in these Resistance Committees, surviving against all odds through a brutal civil war, as armed factions compete for power.
