Subramanian Swamy is an Indian politician and economist and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard and was a former professor at IIT Delhi. He is a six-term MP and was a member of the Planning Commission of India as well as a former Minister of Law and Justice of India. He has written extensively on India's foreign affairs, dealing largely with China, Pakistan, and Israel, and is known for his outspoken views on various political and economic issues.
