Success on Purpose Podcast with Chris Creary

Gods word is very powerful. One of the things it can do is give us instructions or foresight into what we should do in our lives. One things that I’ve learned and we all need to remember is that a miracle is usually not required when biblical principles are followed. And God has given us his word and filled it with principles that we can follow and experience the expected result. So before we get into a situation where we need a miracle, let’s be sure to follow and apply Godly principles. Today I’m going to go over a few common scenarios that you may have experienced. And this is part 1 of a 2 part series.

Today we are talking about the Roman’s road to salvation. If your listening to this episode when I released it we just celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and all that he has done for us when he went to the cross for us. The Roman’s road for salvation is a very easy way to understand how each one of us needs Jesus and what God did for us so that we can be reconciled back onto him. This can also be used as a roadmap when speaking to others who have not accepted Jesus.

One of the first things that we learn growing up is that we need to be obedient. It’s important for children to learn this because they don’t know what dangers could be around them and they need to understand that their parents want the best for them. The same is true with our relationship with God. Obedience is key to our spiritual growth, safety and destiny. We need to be obedient to become who God wants us to be and so that we can see the blessings that come to obedient people. And it’s not just partial obedience but complete obedience.

The heart is the most important organ in our body from a physical perspective. It supplies blood flow to the entire body. Heart stops working properly then your entire body will have issues. The same is true from a spiritual perspective. What’s in your heart and how your heart is working will impact how effective your spiritual life is and the Bible says so much about the heart. So today we are going to read a bit of what the Bible says about the heart so we can learn and apply to our lives.

There are only a few things in life that can hold us back more than our past. We all have made mistakes or wished we could have a do over but we can’t. God wants us to learn from the past mistakes and not allow it to hinder our growth and future progress. The failure or sin that keeps tripping you up is not strong enough to keep you from moving forward. I hope this episode frees you to let it go.

Being reachable is an important character trait if you want to mature and grow. Having a teachable spirit will give other people the ability to point out growth areas to you without you getting upset or having an attitude with them. And this is extremely important for us because often other people can see growth areas in us better then we can see them for ourselves.

We have a lot to learn about the spiritual realm. One thing that I know is that anything physical and visible to us started as something spiritual. This is a principle that we see over and over in the Bible. We need to study to learn more about this and remember this principle for our daily lives.

God has given us authority and dominion over everything in our lives. He expects us to operate in that dominion. If there is something that is happening in your life that does not line up with the Word of God, then you I’ve the right to DOMINATE IT and make it conform to the Will of God.

We know the will of God by reading his word. And anything that doesn’t align with it has to bow to it. This is exercising your dominion. So if there’s a stubborn situation you are facing, you can learn how to subdue it and dominate it today in Jesus name.

God didn’t create us to be alone. Look in Genesis when Adam was created. God said it wasn’t good for man to be alone. This is why we have to seek out others who we can work with and connect with on a relational level. The Bible gives us lots of direction concerning this. So if you’ve been a lone wolf, doing things on your own I hope this episode will encourage you to seek out partners to work with.
