We all are a product of the family we grew up in. Some of us came from a household where there was good things taught and some of us didn’t have that type of structure to learn these things. Over the course of my life I’ve learned alot from others as well as from my own upbringing in a Christian household. We all need to work. God wants us to be productive members of society. This is why the Bible says “if a man doesn’t work, he shouldn’t eat”. In addition to our jobs providing financially for us, they should also give us a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction. You should be able to look back at the end of a work day and be pleased with what you accomplish that day. If you don’t get that feeling, then you may be in the wrong job. You are wonderfully and fearfully made. The Bible says this in Psalms 139. It also says that we are the light of the world and a city built on a hill can not be hidden in Matthew 5. The truth is that God wants our uniqueness to shine for his name sake. He created us all different and for a specific purpose. We shouldn’t feel insecure about who we are or too timid to be ourselves when we go out in a group. God wants our light to shine wherever we go for his glory and he created us to allow our uniqueness to and our gifts to make a space for us in this world.
