The devil is a liar and a thief. He’s been lying and deceiving others from the beginning. I’ve seen the impacts of his lies effect the lives of too many people so today I’m going to expose some common lies the devil tries to spread in society today. My hope is that if you hear the truth today that it will free you from bondage. The truth is based upon His word written in The Bible. It’s hard for some of us to confess but most of us are control freaks. We just want to be the one who determines the outcome of every situation. The more a grow and go through situations the more I realize that we need to hand things over to God and allow him to have his way. He is the only one who has ultimate control over everything. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7 says “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” We need to learn how to do this in every situation that we face. So today we will talk about handing things over to God. We hand things over to Gods hand through prayer and meditation on the promises concerning it. Also we need to avoid thinking about it negatively. So today we are jumping into some areas that we need to commit to god and stand on his promises.

As believers we should remember that our relationship with God is the most important thing that we can do. As we fellowship with God it benefits us is so many different ways. Psalms 103:1-2 says “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—”. We all are a product of the family we grew up in. Some of us came from a household where there was good things taught and some of us didn’t have that type of structure to learn these things. Over the course of my life I’ve learned alot from others as well as from my own upbringing in a Christian household. Now as a husband and father it’s my responsibility to lead my household in the ways of God. In today's episode I’m going to share some things that I do with my family that Are effective in leading and teaching your family in the ways of God.
