Have you ever booked a cruise excursion based on an enticing description, only to discover the reality falls disappointingly short? That's exactly what sparked our deep dive into excursion etiquette this week – a promised maze experience that turned out to be nothing more than a drive-by glimpse from a coach window.

Excursion descriptions often gloss over crucial details like how much time you'll actually spend at destinations versus traveling between them. We share our frustrations with this lack of transparency and discuss what cruise lines should disclose when selling these increasingly expensive experiences. From the four-hour coach journey for a 30-minute stop to the "highlights" that aren't highlighted at all, we explore how better communication could lead to happier cruisers.

But passenger behavior deserves equal scrutiny. We tackle the infuriating habit of fellow travelers talking over tour guides, showing up late to meeting points, and wearing wildly inappropriate footwear for activities. Remember the woman who attempted a jungle expedition in designer Fendi flip-flops? Or our own misadventures with local liqueurs before returning to the coach? These real-life examples illustrate how individual choices impact everyone's experience.
