  • When I Had Suicidal Thoughts
Some thoughts right from the heart with one take. I hope you guys enjoy my story. The picture for this episode is an email that my dad had sent to me after I emailed him my notes on my suicidal thoughts. That type of support exists. It may be harder for some to find, but it's there, and it always helps on the road to recovering from depression & suicidal thoughts.
That hard place that you're in right now, believe it or not, it will pass. We are not eternally stuck in these places and mindsets, and change is very much so possible. Let someone know what kind of thoughts you're having. Sharing and hearing feedback can be life-changing.

  • Suicide Attempt Survivor Shares Events Leading to Attempt
Brielle is extremely strong for sharing her very personal story on the events that led to her attempting suicide. Brielle is with us today, and she is a living example to everyone that things can and do get better with time. We wouldn't be having this conversation together if that were not true.
That hard place that you're in right now, believe it or not, it will pass. We are not eternally stuck in these places and mindsets, and change is very much so possible. Let someone know what kind of thoughts you're having. Sharing and hearing feedback can be life-changing.
I hope Brielle's story inspires you, because it inspired me. It's never easy to discuss these things, so again, thank you so much to Brielle for being so helpful to everyone that is struggling by sharing her story.

  • A Story on Coping with "The Feeling" & Dealing with Depression
In this episode, I had my College buddy, Timmy Quinn on my Podcast. He discusses his struggles with anxiety, of which him and his mom coined the term "the feeling", prior to knowing that it was anxiety. Quinnie also shares his story on depression and how he is still here to tell it. But that's all I'll say for now, because Quinnie tells it best in the episode.
Thank you again, Quinnie, for being so open and for sharing your stories. During Suicide Awareness Week, it's great to people be so open about their own struggles, and to make them real, because we all have our own obstacles to overcome. I hope you enjoy:)

  • A Story on PTSD, a Misdiagnosed Brain Tumor, & the Pandemic
This one is powerful. Rarely do I ever have the experience of listening to such sequential traumatics events in one's life. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened during a brief time period in Sam's life. She has been through the ringer with traumatic events; one after another.
However, Sam's story speaks volumes to how bad things can get, and how much better they can get. Sam is continuing to speak up about his issues in her efforts to overcome her anxiety and PTSD. This is a good one. I hope you enjoy:)

  • 1 Minute, 1 Listen, 1 Call
I've been there. It may not seem like it now, and this adage may seem attenuated for those struggling, but trust me when I say it gets better. Seek help; it does tremendous things when you get all the thoughts stuck in your head out.
If there's anyone that needs to tell you that they care, it's me, I care. You matter. And if you needed a sign not to kill yourself, this is it.

  • Reduce Your Screen Time
Screen time is not something us humans have been doing for a long time. With that being said, we really do not have a clear understanding of what technology is doing for us, either beneficially or adversely. This episode does not suffice for what should be completely said on this topic, but it's a starting point. I do, however, hope you take this somewhat seriously for the sake of your Mental Health.

  • A Story on Body Dysmorphia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), the Pandemic & Much More
Today I brought Abby Pineyro onto the Podcast to discuss her challenges with Body Dysmorphia and Anxiety. Although I thought we would mainly discuss anxiety, Abby brought up her difficulties with Body Dysmorphia, which was a pleasant surprise because I was able to learn more about a mental illness that I previously did not know much about.
Abby's struggles lead her down a fearful road, but through techniques such as breathing and medications such as SSRIs, Abby was able to will her way back through difficult obstacles, and she continues to do so today. Abby's story is a powerful one, and it should be looked at to notice that progress is not a straight line. I hope you enjoy:)

  • Two Twin Brothers, Two Very Different Stories
Today I brought on Greg and Teddy Leo; two people who have been some of my closest friends for nearly my whole life. We discuss mainly anxiety and how each of their stories are completley different. This was extremely interesting to me given the fact that they are so closely related. This episode was filled with a bunch of laughs but we also made a lot of serious points, and brought up some serious topics surrounding therapy and such. Overall, it was a super enjoyable recording and episode to do, and I hope you enjoy:)

  • A Story on Anxiety, Therapy, Medication, Grounding, & More
In this episode, I had Brielle Malanga on the Podcast to discuss her difficulties with anxiety, primarily throughout high school and college. Her struggles were persistent, but through medication, techniques, and more, Brielle is another example of immense progress with anxiety related difficulties. Brielle (like myself) is also going to be a Clinical Psychologist. Although we are not professionals as of now, Brielle and I are more than willing to answer any question we can. Her email (as said at the end of the episode) is: [email protected]. You can also contact her on Instagram. I hope you enjoy:)

  • Grounding Techniques
"Grounding" is useful for people who suffer from anxiety, PTSD, unwanted thoughts, and much more. I've used many grounding techniques particularly for the anxiety and panic attacks that I've dealt with. I hope you find this episode useful, and as always, I hope you enjoy:)
