This morning, in our first Advent sermon, Pastor Lizzy shared about hope. In Lamentations 3, the prophet dared to hope in spite of devastating circumstances. Today, you may be tempted to despair when you walk through difficulties, and when you see evil prevail. As you listen to this message, be encouraged as you dare to hope, because Jesus is Hope. He sees you and is for you, as you wait on Him.   

In this message, Pastor Lizzy talks about the importance of making peace; walking toward conflict in order to bring healing and reconciliation. Jesus is our ultimate example of one who stepped into difficult situations in order to bring eternal peace. We are called to be like Him in our relationships and world.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8).  In this sermon, Pastor Tyler compares two familiar Bible stories to illustrate how we tend to judge based on the external appearance, but God always looks at the heart.

Nov. 5th – Today is International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, which is a fitting day to learn more about the final beatitude that Jesus shares in Matthew 5:10, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” As followers of Jesus, our lives will look different, and that difference will bring about different types of persecution. In the face of persecution, don’t give up. Rather, press on and pray for strength to keep running after Jesus. 

Oct. 29th – This week, Pastor Lizzy continues in our series on the Beatitudes and takes a looks at Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” We are challenged to take stock of what we hunger and thirst after. Is our priority the righteousness of God, or some lesser filler that only causes emptiness and sickness? Be encouraged, in this message, to seek God and His righteousness. You will be filled. 

This week, Pastor Tyler continued in our series on the Beatitudes with a look at verse 4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." In this message, Pastor Tyler talks about what Biblical mourning is and invites us to come to Jesus with our deepest emotions.

This Sunday, Pastor Lizzy began teaching through the Beatitudes, starting with a look at what it means to be poor in spirit. In Matthew 5:3, Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” To be poor in spirit means to be humble, recognize our need for God’s forgiveness, and be willing to walk in His will for us. And as we live a life of poverty in spirit, God will lift us up in His blessing of life with Him for eternity. 

This morning, Pastor Lizzy continues in our series on healing and looks at John 6 to explore how Jesus offers us spiritual healing. If you have ever struggled to find satisfaction, healing, or rest, receive from Jesus what He offers; belief in Him, the only real satisfaction. True healing comes when we seek Jesus for Jesus. 

Sept. 24th: Jesus Heals - Emotional Healing

Today, Pastor Lizzy walks through the story of the woman at the well, found in John 4, and illustrates how Jesus heals our emotional pain.
