This episode kind of goes hand in hand with Changes and Adaptation, but I talk a bit about what I think it means to transition, and be in a "transitional period." Kind of also get pretty meta about the show, my vision, and what I'd like to do in the future with possible guests once folks are travelling/doing everything again. That's about it. Also featured some more great music. Episode 020 out soon, so stay close.
Intro @00:08 : Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
Outro@36:30 : Elton John - Tiny Dancer
GO FORTH, AND BE EXCELLENT
SPREAD YOUR EXCELLENCE, AND BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMONDS
If you can't be safe, then just be careful
I LOVE YOU ALL.

This one I talk a little bit about the unfortunate events that happened in Afghanistan, language learning, BUYING A HOUSE, and a few other things. Even though I literally just finished this, my mind is a wash right now, and I can't remember what all else I covered. Please listen, if you wanna know the rest. For the last several episodes, I've been coming back after the outro song plays to give my sendoffs, so the timestamps are really just for when the music starts; not necessarily when the episode is starting/over.
Intro @00:03 : Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock - It Takes Two
Outro @37:15 : Santana ft. Chad Kroger - Into the Night

This one is kind of a bummer at times, mostly because I talk about how many people's role models are just as fallible as the rest of us, but I talk about still finding inspiration in admirable traits of people, and then becoming your own role model if yours let you down.
Intro @0:50 : Joe Cocker - Feelin' Alright
Outro @27:10 : Eric Burdon & War - They Can't Take Away Our Music

This one I go over what it means to go through change in your life (both positive and negative), relate some life lessons I've learned through Jiu Jitsu, and then go over what it means to adapt to situations that might not be of your choosing.
Intro @1:09 : Black Sabbath - Changes
Outro @36:40 : Portishead - Glory Box

This sum/Thin/sumthin I talk about the new website, recapping vacation, some tech stuff, and I set a record for most times yawned/fallen half asleep during an episode. Intro song is a bit of a departure from previous episodes, but I'm all about diversity, especially in music.
Intro: @2:23: Gillian Carter - South of Heaven (Cover)
Outro: @31:20: Thin Lizzy - Dancing in the Moonlight

In this episode, I talk about using mistakes as a resource to learn from to help curb negative thought patterns, talk a little bit about meditation (or what I've been learning about it), and introduce a future series dealing with ADHD (multi-episode series).

This episode is all about anxiety. Kind of a short one, because I really just wasn't sure what to say about anxiety since it's so hard to describe to others if they've never felt it. Hopefully I did a good enough job at getting the point across, but if not, Google is your friend (or feel free to reach out).
That being said,

Below are some helpful/useful resources if you're feeling down, but a quick google image search of cute animals might also do the trick; to each their own.

HI :D This one's kind of a short one, so apologies if you were looking for a longer episode. Not that I couldn't talk about this more, because I'm sure I can, but this just felt like the right length for now. Part 2 can come at a later date if anything more needs to be said about it, but for now, I'm okay with it.
This one's all about seeing the world, and people, specifically, through different perspectives, and trying not take everything at first glance. Just like we don't (can't, thanks to publishers) judge books by our first impression of their covers, we shouldn't judge people unless we look at their experiences that have brought them this far on their journey, and it wouldn't hurt to look at the world through their eyes.
