12 people have been left injured on board a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Ireland due to severe mid-air turbulence. One Aussie on board the flight has spoken about the 'scary' journey. The incident comes less than a week after severe turbulence injured more than 100 passengers and killed a man on a Singapore Airlines flight from London.

12 people have been injured, and eight taken to hospital after a Qatar Airways plane hit turbulence while flying from Doha to Dublin. Emergency crews were waiting when the Boeing 7-8-7 Dreamliner landed. Australians were among the passengers on board. Qatar Airways says an internal investigation is now underway.
