On todays Episode of SNP Chris and Andy Volt Tackle the Detective Pikachu movie

This is it, Snap Faithful. The eighth and final episode of Wonderful! is here. Zak and Andy were delighted to be joined by none other than Stuart Zagnit - the original voice actor for Professor Oak in both the anime and in Pokémon Snap. They talk about how Stuart's involvement with the game differed from the anime, get into the bittersweet reasons behind his departure from voicing Oak in the anime, and even find out which Pokémon are his favorites.

*tosses confetti and blows a noisemaker* Kingdom Hearts and Other Stuff is one year old!

I'm joined in the celebratory episode by regular Super Nerd Pals guest host Joe Burnet, as we talk about a handful of meaningful milestones that are happening now or coming up soon, such as the Kingdom Hearts series turning 20 in just a few years.

You can also find me, your host, @zacharyplyons.

In the penultimate episode of Wonderful!, Zak and Andy take a look at the constant upward trend of selfie and photo modes in video games over the last decade, and use that as a basis to explain why now is the perfect time for a Pokemon Snap sequel. Make sure to listen until the end, as we reveal our special plans for the finale!

Throughout Pokemon's 23-year history in the realm of video games, nearly every title released has received a sequel or spin-off of some sort. In episode 6 of Wonderful, Zak and Andy dissect some of those titles and speculate on why some of them received sequels while others (such as our beloved Pokemon Snap) were shunned.

An old friend from my hometown joins me on episode 24 of Kingdom Hearts and Other Stuff. He's been diving deep into retro video game collecting, and also working on creating an interactive 16-bit video game companion to his DnD and Pathfinder campaigns. It's really quite neat, and all of it goes down in his Fungeon (his Fun Dungeon, you see).

In episode 5 of Wonderful!, Zak and Andy put their own ideas for a sequel to the side for a bit to instead marvel at other fans' projects and ideas. You can check out their videos we discuss in this episode at the following links:

The boys have tossed out off-hand comments about things they'd like to see in a potential Pokémon Snap sequel, but episode 4 is where they really dig deep into their pitches and spitball ideas for the would-be follow-up. From new items and stages to selfies and leaderboards, they've got a whole lot to talk about.
