We've had our first taste of footy, and whilst we're dizzy from the poor camera work, we're pumped nonetheless (with a touch of vertigo!)

We discuss all 7 practice games, as well as the two intra club games from the Dogs and Giants - touching on the key takeaways; who impressed, who failed to fire and more!

It's team reveal timeeee! Damo and Liam both unveil their team's for the first time, running through their structure and players they've selected... so far - as no doubt this will change another 172 times (maybe add a 0 onto the end of that number!)

We're looking to catapult our YouTube reach so it lines up with the same demand of the podcast, so we've set the goal of 500 subs come the start of Round 1... which we think is probably a lofty expectation in all likelihood - but help prove us wrong coz you're legends! Across the next set of our pre-season analysis episodes, we delve into all things strategy, with this episode looking at the all important Team Structure!

This season is as unique as any with lines being blurred between what can be classified as a "rookie", with so many mature age players (or traditional mid pricers) being available at rookies prices in 2023. They provide stability and more surety in scoring ability, but can they make as much cash compared to a traditional first year rookie?

And what is the best structure? Guns and Rookies, Mid-Pricers or does the hybrid approach reign supreme?
