The SC community "gathered round" to FINALLY witness the unveiling of the yeti himself - the man, the myth, the legend - Will Gould being unleashed, and yes he does in fact exist! It was a thing of beauty!

Meanwhile, Docherty owners were forced to trade (if they weren’t already) after news of an MCL injury, with one of the popular trade in options of Dawson going BIG with no tag!

Set-and-forget-erfield tried his best to quell the Pink, Sweaty Pig in Clarry, but it was no match for the sloppy conditions he loves getting his trotters dirty in!

DPP changes also come into effect after we preview Round 6! We discuss that and more!

The Daicos dynamo set the tone early, punching out a 151 in emphatic fashion, but the highs were met with lows for those who owned Docherty, leaving us all asking “Whats up DOC?!”

Jordan Dawson brought his own footy to the clash with Freo, whilst Longmuir somehow thought it’d be more effective tagging Rory SQUARED instead of him, and the margin and performance from the Crows captain reflected why that was a dumb move.

Bont was on track for a blinder until the speedhump known as Bevo tried to Bevo him by throwing him forward at stages. He must’ve had English as his captain instead, who punched out a 145.

Grundy was the other ruck who feasted, dining out on the Eagles non-existent ruck setup, with a score 144, whilst Sean Darcy continued HO-DA-DOORING for owners who kept the faith in the big OAF. But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows in the ruck department, with Witts deserting 16% of his owners after being a late out due to soreness.

Oh, and to top things off Nank The Tank has been ruled out with a syndesmosis injury against the Dogs that requires surgery! And amongst it all we had cashcows mooing and others in line for culling.

We discuss all that and more in today's episode!

Incredible scenes as we saw the second coming of Stewart as he arose from the ashes like Lazarus to ruin the hopes and dreams of former and prospective owners alike.

Speaking of rising from the ashes, the man affectionately known as HO-DA-DOOR had owners rejoicing at a respectable score for once.

And, of course, injuries continued with Darcy Cameron, who 16% of the competition unfortunately traded in. And then there was LDU who sustained a calf strain in the warmup minutes before the game. Brutal!

Oh, and we also had our first set of price changes! We throw up some of the best rookie cashcows that are still spouting cash along with those players that need to be punted for better options.

Much like last week, there was a bit of carnage to kick the round off, with Gawn delivering owners a donut - and unfortunately not of the hot jam variety - after he went down with injury. Steele was yet another premo to go down with injury, fracturing his collarbone - yet he once again played out the game like he did when he previously did a similar injury. Bloke deserves a purple star!

But then we had young superstar Nick Daicos put on an absolute clinic, leaving non-owners sitting in the corner like jealous kids watching as others play with the shiny new toy they now want. They’re breaking piggy banks, and scrambling up any loose change that’s fallen behind the couch to try and afford him.

And what of “Will Set-and-forget-erfield”, who put in a monster performance, PLUS we are on the cusp of price changes! We throw up some of the best rookie cashcows to jump on you might have missed, along with some mid-priced stepping stone and breakout contenders!

The 2023 officially kicked off, and we were all silently looking for the reset button such was the amount of carnage we all faced in the opening round; with the likes of Stewart, Jones, Kelly and Whitfield headlining the key injuries, and Laird one of the bigger under-performing premos.

We throw up some options to help with how best to cover their absence with trade options in the form of fellow premos, along with some high quality breakout options that you need to try and trade into your team and keep an eye on ahead of price rises.
