Just when you thought Editing KJ had died (and this episode DID attempt to kill them!), KJ is back to  spend yet another week diving deep into the CW network's walls. This week a bonus episode starring Meredith and August!
Instead of notes, here's a list of corrections Editing KJ had of Recording KJ's words:
Note that Kevin did in fact lose a kidney, as does Fangs, contrary to what KJ told Meredith in this episode. Seven seasons is a lot to remember specific details on. KJ also mixed up season 2 and season 3 in the Meredith portions of the episode.  KJ would also like to note that they criticized the pacing of the end of season 4 in the August portion of the episode, and the end of season 4 was impacted by COVID, and is the reason those three episodes were pushed into season 5.

KJ and Meredith are joined by a very fun duo of Kate and Bahy this week to talk about Kim Manners’ final episode of Supernatural. KJ has a regret about their extensive Supernatural statistics. Dean says if he didn’t know Sam, he’d want to hunt him, leading the squad to ponder the question of how psychic is too psychic? The crew also lodges a complaint about eating on Supernatural and in this episode in particular.
CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean discover that Jack Montgomery (guest star Dameon Clark), a family man, is turning into a Rugaru, a creature that starts as a human but changes into a flesh-eating monster. The people who are infected don't understand what is happening until they turn into cannibals and eat another person. Understanding what it is like to be a victim of a twisted destiny, Sam believes he can reason with Jack and convince him to control his urges. Dean doesn't think Jack's animalistic behavior can be subdued and decides the only honorable thing to do is to shoot him.

KJ, Meredith, and Nick are time traveling and KJ is here to make even more Back to the Future references than this episode of Supernatural. KJ condemns Sam Winchester’s fashion tastes even though there’s a significant lack of Sam in this episode. The crew discusses the cancellation of The Winchesters and what exactly John Winchester thinks happened to the Campbells in this episode. Eric Kripke comes under fire for a questionable showrunner decision.
CW Episode Description: Dean is transported back in time and is shocked when he lands in Lawrence, Kansas. However, that shock turns to amazement after he runs into a young John Winchester (guest star Matt Cohen) and Mary (guest star Amy Gumenick) who have just fallen in love. Dean isn't sure why he was sent back so he begins to enjoy the time with his parents and newfound grandfather (guest star Mitch Pileggi, "The X-Files"), who may be hiding a secret that is key to Sam and Dean's entire predicament.

KJ and Meredith are reunited, and join up with first time guest, Kaya, to talk about this episode of Supernatural where the biblical Apocalypse is introduced. KJ takes issue with the writer’s guest character selection, and the crew agrees with the Winchesters that Bobby continues to be the most incredible character on this show.
CW Episode Description: Sam and Dean are stunned when the spirits of Meg (guest star Nicki Aycox) and Agent Henricksen (guest star Charles Malik Whitfield) appear and accuse the Winchesters of failing them. Although rattled, the brothers must pull together to save Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver), who is too crippled with guilt to fight off the angry ghosts of the young children he couldn't save.

KJ starts the new season hot out of the gate with a discussion on Jesus vs Lazarus. But they’re not on this journey alone, August (Saving People, Queering Things) and Pluto. Cas is finally here, the show finally takes a firm anti-incest stance, and a guest appearance by August's sibling/cohost Sam!
CW Episode Description: It's four months later and Dean wakes in a pine box. He's been freed from Hell. He has a joyful reunion with Sam and Bobby (Jim Beaver), but it isn't long before the three wonder what exactly pulled Dean from Hell and what it will want in return.

Just ahead of the introduction of Misha's characeracer Castiel to the podcast, we take a quick (or not so quick) look at one of Misha's post-Supernatural characters, folklore professor Jeremy Bradshaw.
The stars are aligning after months of delay and KJ and Meredith are kicking off the new season with Frances to talk about Bridgewater Season 2 just ahead of what seems to be an announcement about the future of the Bridgewater series! The crew breaks down the events of season 2, puzzle through the show’s nebulous timeline, and share their thoughts both while listening and now that they’ve finished the season. Plus some healthy speculation and wishlists for potential future storylines. See also: firm opinions on brunch, younger parent older child trope, and parallels and Easter eggs for Supernatural.

It’s a Pod Squad roundup on the season 3 finale as KJ and Meredith are joined by August (Saving People, Queering Things), and Beth and Jamie (Driver Picks The Podcast, Thief Steals The Podcast). The squad struggles not to talk about Cas as his presence looms so closely. Also up for discussion is hellhounds on planes and financial compensation for Bobby Singer. It was a stretch to get one last episode out in 2023, but we made it and we wrapped up a season to boot!
CW Episode Description: It's 30 hours before Dean's deal with the crossroads demon is up and Dean, Sam and Bobby (Jim Beaver) are searching for Lilith, who holds the contract. They discover her location and Sam summons Ruby for help despite Dean's protests. Ruby warns them they aren't ready to fight Lilith yet but they steal her knife and depart for New Harmony, Indiana. In a battle to the death, Sam, Dean and Bobby take on Lilith and all her demons in a last ditch effort to save Dean's life.

If you thought KJ’s death count was wacky during Mystery Spot, you’re not prepared for the math happening in the wake of Doc Benton. KJ, Meredith, and Frances are gathered this week to ask some questions about surgical practices. And Frances takes on the mythology section this week with some information about the urban legend that inspired this week’s shenanigans. Also included: A healthy dose of making all of this John’s fault.
CW Episode Description: As time runs out for Dean, Sam convinces him to head to Erie, Pennsylvania to investigate a possible zombie case. Instead, they discover Doc Benton (guest star Billy Drago), a real-life doctor who, in 1816, abandoned his medical practice to follow his obsession with finding the key to eternal life by drugging people and stealing their vital organs. Meanwhile, Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) finds out where Bela is hiding, and Dean heads out to confront her, leaving Sam behind to deal with the good doctor. Dean and Bela battle it out for the last time, and Dean leaves Bela in a desperate, and possibly fatal, position.
