About our guest: Susan's love for the Arts was nurtured by her Mother from an early age.  Dancing in her patent leather shoes for her Grandmother after church on Sunday, spending Saturdays reading in the Library, singing in the Chicago All City HS chorus, writing short stories, poems and dancing around the Living Room to music ranging from the classics to jazz, blues & gospel.

 

As an adult she became a Registered Nurse but she never lost her love for the Arts. She has published 3 books of poetry.  Then her first book in 2010 called The Little Liverpool Diaries and the soon to be released children's book, The Lion & the Porcupine. Susan is a talented song writer, having written 15 songs for The Little Liverpool Diaries and 7 songs for The Lion & the Porcupine. Her dream is to see both these works on the Broadway stage!

The first half of tonight's show will be about Eureka

Gardens Apartments right here in Jacksonville, Fl. If you have been listening to

the news anywhere in the country, you know it is a subsidezed housing complex

who's owners receive millions of tax payers' dollars a year to provide maitenence

and repairs. Having said that, you have probably also seen how the living

conditions are deplorable and even life threatening. This has been going on for

years, but it wasn't until the help of our guest tonight and others, that it was

brought to public attention. Denise Hunt, nurse by day and political/social activist

by night, is who we owe a great deal of gratitude to for helping to expose how

people are willing to treat others.

The second half of the show will be focus on President Obama's support of

transgenders being able to use whatever bathroom they choose. He is

supporting a bill that will require ALL public schools to allow students who feel

they are transgender to use the restroom of their choice. Are you OK with that?

Make sure you tune in as we explore the possibilities of your 7 year old son being

told that if he feels like a girl, he should go with that feeling to see if really should

have been and there was a mistake.
