Fat shaming and diet culture are two harmful and non-factual thought patterns. Today’s episode is a deep dive into why we began fat shaming and how it seeps into our everyday lives. Our mental health, body image, and self-acceptance are tested by these norms, and I am here to question the status quo. From this conversation comes insights into diet culture, how to be a conscious and mindful consumer, and how rejecting diet culture and fat shaming can help us to live more joyfully and promote a healthier mindset.
Let me set the scene: we're at a sleepover and I'm rambling before bed. This episode is a chatty one, all about spring cleaning, holistic health, and intentions/ ideas for Q2 of 2024!
I've had a rough couple of days... but that seems to be a monthly occurrence. I figured it's time to sit down and really understand what makes the week before our period feel so heavy. In this episode there is research, personal experience, laughs, and everything in between as we discuss PMS symptoms and hormonal changes during this phase of the menstrual cycle. I hope you enjoy the show!

Bonus points if you get the MARINA reference ;) ... But today's episode follows the roller coaster of emotions that we all feel from time to time. I talk about my latest emotional ride, why it's important to deeply feel the emotions that we have, and ways to begin understanding and empathizing with yourself. By recognizing and accepting our emotions, we have the power to flow through them and learn from them. Being a human is being emotional, so let's embrace that!! Lots of love always xoxoxo Christine
Happy weekend!! Today I want to chat about 5 things that diet culture convinced me were true and consumed so much brain energy. This is a conversation to bring light to these toxic diet culture lies and to remind all of us that the healthiest thing we can do is to listen to our own bodies! If you are struggling with the grasps of diet culture, this is to tell you that you're not alone and you will get past these thoughts and ideas over time :) Lots of love always xoxoxoxo
