Week 16 is in the books!

The guys are happy that both of their teams won, though Jon wants the hope to end. Things fell into place as we lead into the Christmas week. The guys will be hanging out with family and friends during the holiday festivities, so this action-packed episode will react and predict.

The episode begins with a recap of the relevant matchups, as many teams are still in the playoff hunt. Losses by the Broncos, Seahawks, Bucs and Eagles can change the playoff landscape big time. It may be too late for some teams (Hi Bengals!), but there is still some outside hope if things fall into place. That's why they play the games.

The Chiefs and Lions still look like front-runners for a Super Bowl showdown, with great performances by both of them. But don't let that distract you from what the Ravens are doing at this time. And was Jon correct about the Steelers peaking too early? Their upcoming matchup against the one-loss Chiefs will tell us a lot.

Week 16 is upon us!

The guys begin by discussing some injuries and recapping the Monday Night action. Schif isn't that happy about his Falcons' performance. But how happy is he about Cousins being benched? Is the season over? Is Penix the hope for 2024? There are some other big changes that the guys discuss as well.

Then the guys go on to Flip Em and Pick Em where Jon is still well ahead of Schif. Are there upsets out there to help Schif catch up? Does the winner of the coin toss pick the easier games?

Week 15 is in the books!

Jon's Dolphins have finally put him out of his misery with a loss. Now it's time to move on to another team to root for with the playoffs around the corner. What team is he interested in rooting for? Schif still has hope, but the Monday night game isn't decided with his Falcons yet. Fingers still crossed! The guys have, however been able to cash in on some good bets with a week 15 that went as they predicted. At least there's that.

Some other games were played over the weekend and the action was there. One team (Hi Panthers!) performed as they should have, though they were somehow predicted to have a better showing than our guys predicted/expected in their loss to the obviously better Cowboys. The Rams and 49ers underwhelmed, while the Bills and Lions put on a show that we all were waiting for (and betting on in this case). Josh "Solid Gold" Allen delivered yet again in a performance that strengthened his MVP bid (as the NFL wants, according to Jonathan).

Again, there were some unfortunate injuries (get well soon Chubb!) and some returns to greatness (Hi Lamar!) that rounded out a fun week that gave the guys a lot to talk about.

Week 15 is upon us!

The guys get together and begin by discussing the Monday Night Football game that won them some money (follow their bets on Patreon). That game went as they expected, but unfortunately prematurely ended a promising player's season. We wish a speedy recovery to Overshown. Then they update on the INSANE news that Bill Belichick will be taking over the UNC football program which extends the terror that he has rained upon Jon since the Tom Brady era began. Great!

Then on to some NFL talk. Schif has some injury updates and some fun league tidbits, including a cool Green Bay Packers Fan Airbnb setup that the guys are in love with. Then on to the playoff picture. The guys break down the teams that are in, out and on the fence and discuss how they think it will all play out.

Schif finally won a Flip Em & Pick Em in week 14. Can he get a streak going? He called the coin flip, but who won? Some upsets may happen as the guys disagree big time on some games. It's spicy!

Week 14 is in the books!

The guys get together and discuss the action from an up-and-down weekend. Some games were barn-burners (Hi Rams/Bills) while others were snoozefests (Hi Saints/Giants). Some quarterbacks shifted the narratives (Hi Darnold), while others are causing fans to ask for a change (Hi Cousins).

It all began on Thursday with an instant classic of a game, with the Lions and Packers going at it. It ended with another division rivalry, with the Chiefs and Chargers. Both games came down to the wire, and the guys are here for that kind of carrying on. Jon was stressed out by his teams narrow victory over their rival Jets. Schif was let down, yet again, by his Falcons. They cover all of the games in this action-packed episode that includes an entertaining locker room speech.

Week 14 is upon us!

The guys begin by discussing the Monday night game where we all got to take part in the Jameis Winston experience. Too bad for the Browns, Jameis Jameised one too many times and they lost to the vulnerable Broncos.

Then Schif updates us all on the Trevor Lawrence situation and all things relative to that. After the news it's that game we all know and love...

Jon has a big lead on Schif (for now) in Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em. Schif vows to be less reckless in his picks this week, but Jon has made no such promise, with some upset predictions throughout. This could be the comeback weak Schif has been waiting for!

Week 13 is in the books!

Jon is bummed again after a tough Thanksgiving weekend for Miami sports fans. One thing that was able to keep his spirits up was the Thanksgiving Dinner party that he and Schif enjoyed on Saturday. That was one for the ages.

The Thanksgiving games were "meh" with one great game of the three. One game cost Matt Eberflus his job (which the guys said he shouldn't have had anyway, but let's move on). The Chiefs squeaked past another bad team, leaving the guys worried... or not. Are they going to peak when the time is right? Or do they just get benefit of the doubt because they're the current dynasty?

The Sunday/Monday games were up and down with teams causing heartbreak to their fans (hi Falcons and Jets!). Schif doubled down on his willingness to trade away Cousins for Mayfield (the best in the game, according to Jon). Mayfield did gut his team to another victory, as both Jon and Schif's teams slide towards early exits before the playoffs (PLAYOFFS? Don't talk about playoffs...).

Some teams came out winning in ways they didn't show us before (hi Steelers!), as we get closer to that final tournament that we all love.

Week 13 is upon us!

It's Thanksgiving week and the guys are happy about football. Some good matchups are lined up for Turkey Day and the rest of the weekend. Jon & Schif discuss their plans for the American holiday and then get into news. We get the big siren this episode as Daniel Jones has finally found a new home! Unfortunately there are some injuries in the news as well, but that's NFL life.

Week 12 is in the books!

It was an eventful week that included quite a few upsets and closer matchups than anyone predicted. The Chiefs, for instance, were a few plays from getting bounced by the Panthers. The lowly Cowboys beat the Commanders in a crazy game that shouldn't have been as close as the final score. The Texans have a bit of soul-searching to do after a head-scratching loss to the Titans. The mighty Steelers were knocked down a few pegs by the Browns in a true AFC North classic game that Schif aptly describes as the perfect story for a film.

Spoiler season is already in full effect, according to Schif, who begins this episode with the news of Daniel Jones being set free by the hapless New York Giants front office. Jon thinks that front office is a pandering joke. He breaks it down for you. Some teams handled their business (Hello Broncos, Dolphins, Bucs, Packers and Lions) in week 12. Some won, but left some meat on the bone (Hi Vikings). Here, the fellas dig into all of it.

Week 12 is upon us!

The guys are back and are excited because... well... because there's football. After last week's games, they don't predict this week topping that action, but football is always fun, so they're here for it. The games look to be one-sided, but there's a reason they play the games on Sundays. You play to win the game!

Schif updates on the latest in NFL news, namely a firing up in New York. Was it smart of the Jets to fire their GM? Is Rodgers going to be there next year? So many questions that the guys have speculations about (as always).
