The Conference Championship Round is in the books!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, Super Bowl LIX is now officially decided. The Kansas City Chiefs will try and make history, while the Philadelphia Eagles will try to avenge their loss from two years ago.

The storylines will be aplenty until that game, but we had quite the eventful championship round. The first game began with a boom. The Eagles shot out of a cannon and never looked back. The game was competitive for a bit, but the outmatched Commanders didn't have what it took to win on this day. The better team won, and Washington has nothing to hang its head about. Makes you wonder what a Detroit/Philly game would have been like. The guys were impressed by Saquon Barkley, who looks like a man on a mission right now.

The second game provided both amazing highlights and an air of inevitability. The Chiefs had too much for the game Bills. Kansas City seems to be peaking right when it's time. They have officially beaten every team they've faced this season. It's on to the Super Bowl. Many have grown tired of this team that seems to be in full-on dynasty mode. Our guys don't have that fatigue just yet. They explain why.

The Championship Round is upon us!

They guys are back to discuss the final round before the Super Bowl! That's right, the winners of these games will be one win away from hoisting the Lombardi trophy.

First things first, Schif has some updates from around the league. Teams are trying to fill their coaching vacancies before the offseason really kicks into gear. One coach (Hi Liam!) is making it pretty awkward and that alone gives Jonathan some misgivings about how Coach Coen will be as a leader.

Other teams (Hi Cowboys!) are still making quite puzzling moves. Of course, the dust will eventually settle, but some teams are happy (Hi Bears and Jets!) to know that they are ready to begin their next regime.

Schif will likely win the playoff version of Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em, but YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME, so Jon is still going to give it a shot. The coin toss matters more than ever, so tune in to see who will win. The guys give their reasoning behind their picks and childish asterisks. It's another fun episode. Enjoy!

The Divisional Round is in the books!

The guys link up with Jon fresh off a trip from Vegas after a wild weekend of Divisional Round games. We're down to the final four teams and the guys are here for it all.

Listen in as Schif details the sadness we all felt for the unexpected exit (Bye Lions) which berthed a new underdog darling team (Hi Commanders!). The Eagles pulled a victory out, but the Rams weren't going out without a fight. Is Jalen Hurts going to be able to pull off another championship run after a subpar performance? Should the Bills be worried about Josh Allen's performance, or should they be bolstered by the fact that they beat a good Ravens team (or did they beat themselves?) and didn't need Allen to put on his cape?

The Playoffs are upon us!

Congrats to your team if they made the cut. If you're like Jon and Schif, then better luck next year. But too much is going on for our guys to sulk in their post-season sadness. The playoffs are right around the corner and some good games are on the horizon. Games that will ultimately determine this season's champion.

First and foremost, "Black Monday" has passed, and three coaches got the axe. Ironically, the two Black coaches got fired before and after the darkly named day. Jon doesn't think that's by chance. There are plenty of candidates for the five coachless teams. All of them are already kicking tires. One team (Hi Dallas!) doesn't want anyone near their unsigned coach just yet. Odd behavior is no new thing coming out of that organization, so the guys keep it moving.

Some key injuries make things tougher for some of the remaining teams. One team (Hi Packers!) maybe could have avoided two issues.

Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em has moved into playoff mode with each round counting for more points. So you're saying Schif has a chance?! That all depends on the coin flip. Will luck be on Schif's side? Tune in for another fun episode of SveNFL!

The 2024 Regular Season is in the books!

The guys get together and mourn their teams' lack of playoff berth as well as break down the week 18 action and consequences. Developments are already underway as one coach has been fired, and another defended by his owner. There are playoff games and a hectic offseason for teams to look forward to. Week 18 is upon us!

The final week of the NFL season is full of uncertainty as always. There are mismatches aplenty as well as best player rest going on. Who the hell knows what's in store for us? The league is well aware of the lackluster effort that we're all in for and has tried to schedule around it, with the marquee matchup being the Vikings vs Lions on Sunday night.

That doesn't excuse the guys from making Flip 'Em & Pick 'Em picks. Jonathan has all but clinched the regular season (no surprise there), but the game is still up for grabs for Schif with playoff games being worth more points. The guys are prepared to make their final picks.

Before that, we get a recap on how they brought in the New Year (fog and alcohol, baby!) and how Jonathan is now caught up in a new genre of entertainment that could be publicly embarrassing. Don't miss that conversation!

Week 17 is in the books!

The guys go through the meaningful action that have shaped both playoff races into their current state. There are a few things left to be decided thanks to some teams faltering (Hi Broncos and Colts!) and some teams with glimmers of hope (Hi Dolphins and Bengals!)

There are plenty of questions that will soon be answered. Like will Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen or Saquan Barkley win the MVP award for the season. Who do the guys think should get it? Are there any interim coaches that might stick around for next season? What philosophy should teams (Hi Saints and Giants!) take going into the offseason? Are we taking top coaches for granted by not naming them coach of the year? Have Reid and Tomlin earned consideration? How influential is Sean McVay? What about his coaching style has made his ecosystem so effective in recent years?

The guys discuss the actual games as well, with some fun games mixed into some duds. The Vikings look like the real deal, but they will now have some offseason drama with Sam Darnold kicking ass as he has. The Packers have nothing to hang their heads about, but what about the Lions giving up 35 points to the injury-depleted 49ers? Are there chinks in their armor? Are the Dolphins and Falcons staying in the hunt just to torture our hosts? So many questions!
