Swerve Shows

Another one from the last Boog' this time from yours truly, throwing down a set of 90s hip house into bass music.

This was a very considered set laying the foundation for breaks and bass lines early in the set.

I had a great time playing it, I hope you enjoy listening to it!

As always, Like and comment for traxxx and keep your eyes peeled for the next few over the weekend!

xoxo Cosmic Boogie 😘😘

Cricket has once again rolled through the Boog' with a set of down low heaters designed to make your hips wiggle and... I think she reached the mark once again! What more can be said about this collection of tunes? Always diverse, always adventurous, always stellar!

Wrap your ears around the set and let @sabel-3 know what you think ❤️

Thank you soo much Cricket for throwing it down once again! Like and follow, comment for track ID's ❤️‍🔥

Until next time!

First mix off the press from the April event comes from the opening DJ Öncüm Yılmaz. Delivering on the promise of a beautifully executed all vinyl opening set, i knew the vibes were in safe hands as soon as the needle hit that first record.

It was a lovely experience, blends of unexpected treasures graced the courtyard, the perfect backdrop to a sunny afternoon.

A HUGE thank you to @oncumyilmaz, give the man a like and a follow, check his socials, and as always, like and comment for track ID's.

Stay tuned for more recordings over the next few weeks 🥰

XOXO Cosmic Boogie

Rounding out the recordings of last months Cosmic Boogie party, we have Cricket! Once again sending it for the solid 2 hours to close out the night. A vast and varied foray into 'the sounds that make us dance', Cricket blends and weaves through records and genres like water running down a mountain river.

Always a good time 💖

The one and only @EarnestJ rolled through the Boog' in March to show us how it's done. Laying down a scrumptious 2 hour journey of eclectic and vibrant wax selections.

Hi Energy and infectious vibrations are on full show, all delivered with impeccable execution.

Strap in and enjoy the ride. Give the man a follow and don't forget to comment for track ID's 🪩

March 8th we got back to the Lord Gladstone courtyard for a lovely evening of tunes. This set was the opening set, recorded from 6-8pm, sun setting, quiet drinks, catch ups with friends, lots of smiles and cheer in the air at the end of the working week.

I played this set with heavy influence from Osunlade and Ron Trent who I'd seen play the weekend before, mixed with some Australiana and spiritual messages about the state of humankind with everything going on in the world.

Tune in, bliss out, comment for ID's

Stay tuned for recordings from the rest of the night from Cricket and Earnest J 🥰

xoxo Cosmic Boogie 😘

On March 2nd, myself and Mark Cameron Jackson had the tremendous pleasure of playing a 7h set on the rooftop of the Burdekin Hotel on Sydney's Oxford st for their Mardi Gras viewing party.

It was a great time! Spirits were high, vibes and drinks were flowing, big smiles all around. What a beautiful occasion and a gorgeous time it was.

We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did playing it. Peep the recording, comment for ID's and greet everyone with a smile.

🥰🥰 xoxo Cosmic Boogie

The final set recording from the last Cosmic Boogie party is mine! I'm so pleased to be able to share this with you all. I had soo much fun playing this on the night and the vibes really translate in the recording. Great times, with great friends to great music. What more can you ask for!

Lots of love to everyone who came through to the last party, hope to see you at the next one! ❤️🪩

🪩🫡 Being a long time fan and friend of @sabel-3 - Cricket, I thought I (Rubio) knew what to expect from this set. Cricket blew away my expectations this time.

We know she's been going from strength to strength, playing more and more high profile gigs, whether it's an all vinyl warm up for Ezra Collective at the City Recital Hall, or her sets at Lost Paradise, to sweaty basement jams.

This mix is peak mid-time perfection, plenty of low key bangers, lots of leftfield gems all served up with a healthy dollop of nostalgia.

Cricket knows the score, and always knocks it for 6 (eh eh...?) and you can rest assured you'll be seeing much more of her at the Boog' in times to come.

Last weekend we got back down to the familiar stomping grounds of the Lord Gladstone Courtyard for the first Cosmic Boogie of the new year. Sooo good to be back!

Mr Roarke kindly graced us with 2 hours of GORGEOUS soulful house and disco to get us started. Throughout the recording you can expect beautiful blends, soothing rhythms and moments of energy perfectly distributed throughout the sound journey.

Much respect to Mr Roarke for providing the vibes ❤🙌

Recordings from Cricket & Rubio (me) to come 💕
