Swerve Shows

Lachy MacNeill doesn't get out to play very often but when he does you really hope to be there. Ex full time Falcona DJ turned Buzz speaker hire facilitator is an absolute secret weapon and we're thrilled to have had him roll through to showcase his skills. This last outing was quite a set, weaving between soo many different styles and tempos like an old hand. It was an absolute treat.

Thanks Lachy for coming to share your tastes with us.

The vibes were very high indeed <3

Ey Ey Ey, it's the first recording to come out of our September party at the gladdy! This one, the opening set from our very lovely and very talented friend Iresh aka FLY WAVES. We've had her in before, she was soo good we had to get her back in, this time for a set of Hip Hop, Rnb, Rap and all those other lovely flavours that come with it.

She delivered the perfect early afternoon vibe.

We were truly privileged to have Bocconcini come down to play for us at our August session. She absolutely delivered the goods with 2 hours of smooth and lovely tunes shifting tempos and styles seamlessly. The experienced FBI Radio host took us ok quite a journey in the courtyard and now, you can re-live the experience. Tune in and tune out. Enjoy the vibes <3

Akul, Akul, Akul... Who's Akul...? Asks nobody in Sydney or most of Europe by now. This dude is taking over! We're so here for it. From his almost viral free releases of edits of Gimme Da Weed, and the Round The Twist theme, to a solid back catalogue of tunes on the much respected Extra Spicy and Finespun labels, known for their incredible production quality, Akul is fast becoming a star in the worldwide UKG scene.

We couldn't be happier to have brought Akul on board for the July party. We set him a task of combining his 2 loves over the course of two hours. Play some UKG, finish on Jungle. What we got was a masterclass in DJing.

Big up Akul, Big up Extra Spicy, Big up Sydney bass music, Big up all dancers.

Tragedy struck at the 11th hour on the 2nd of July. Trusty Cosmic Boogie Co-Pilot Tom Penny was struck down with Covid the morning of the event causing him to miss the event 😓. Rubio had to hold the fort down for the 4h opening slot. What ensued was a lovely mix of downtempo, street soul, oddities, lush warm vibes, and a good feeling in the belly. Big Big love to all that got in early to hear it.

What can be said about the man that is Swisherman? He's a hard man to pin down in terms of Genre or style. Taste maker might be one way, journeyman might be another... In any case, as you can plainly tell from this mix, Swisherman can deliver the goods. Supporter of moods on their weekly Mood Support radio show on Orbital Radio, A long term part of the Dunj Crew and revered Skylounge proprietor, you can find him in the club, or at regular festival slots playing a range of Hard techno, to Drum & Bass, to Jungle, Dubstep, Jazz, Deep house, UKG, downtempo and ambient... you get the idea. A peek at the music collection of Swisherman is highly sought after.

In early July he got down with us to deliver a gorgeous set that both banged and was simultaneously beautiful. Gorgeous and careful in construction, this mix is bliss in any situation.

a Huge Huge thank you to Swisherman for lending us his talents on the day. Please make your thoughts known in the comments, and give the boy a follow in any of the links below;
