Welcome to the South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas!
Blindspotting Season 2 (TV Spotlight Audience Award Winner) is finally here! And we're excited to bring you a conversation with Executive Producer, Jess Wu Calder, as this season marks her directorial debut. Jess has been with Blindspotting since the beginning, and she shares how her idea to make a film that incorporates spoken word has turned into not only a successful film, but an ongoing tv series. We get into her apprehension to direct (and a how a sweet exchange between Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs changed her mind), why she takes her work so seriously in regards to representation, and how the supportive vibe on set is reflected in the quality of the show.
Blindspotting Season 2 premieres on April 14th on Starz
