Mental Health has always been a prioritized topic on this podcast and this week we decided to unpack some of the 4 most commonly employed trauma responses. Responding to trauma happens in phases and can look different from person to person. In the episode, we discuss what each response means and how it can manifest long after an instance of trauma has occurred. Stay tuned to hear a story from one of the H's in which they recount a personal experience with trauma and how they handled it.

This week, we went a little deeper than usual. We wanted to bring awareness to domestic violence specifically as it pertains to men. In the episode, we unpack a brief summary of a recent case involving a well-known Hollywood couple, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. We use this case to illustrate the point that no one is immune to the mental, emotional, and physical repercussions that can take place in an abusive relationship.
We also wanted to put the spotlight on 'secure attachments' and what that looks like in successful/committed relationships and friendships.
