In this episode, I share the print proof of my new book. Yay! I also talk about my recent vacation (Luke makes a guest appearance to talk about it as well) and the little bit of knitting I did while I was away. The shawl for this episode is the first shawl I designed.

In this episode, I share my recommendation for the “best” Arthurian movie that I’ve seen and talk about a shawl that I didn’t finish. I have a couple of socks on the needles as well as a shawl with several new projects in the planning stages. More stashing happened as well as some yarn that I picked up as the giveaway for this quarter’s KAL (it’s gorgeous!). And I’ve got quite a bit of reading/watching to talk about this time.

In this bonus episode of the podcast, I answer the questions that have been asked up to this point in the giveaway thread to celebrate my one-year podiversary. Questions range from my most challenging and rewarding projects, to inspiration and how I design, to how I got started dyeing and whether or not I’d be interested in teaching dyeing with several others in between.

In this episode, I talk about my experience at PLY Away 2017, focusing on the three classes I took and the stuff I bought from the awesome vendors. I also took an unexpected side trip! For what I’m knitting, I have new projects on the needles and a finished project.

In this episode, I get a little nostalgic over one of Luke’s t-shirts. The shawl is also one I knit quite a few years ago. I’m coming close to the end of one knitting project, I’ve decided to put another in hibernation, and I’m ready to start new projects. And there’s even a spinning section in this episode!

In this episode, I tie in several segments to the idea of community, especially the mindset of the “rising tide” and what that means for small fiber businesses. I open my latest package from the Elemental Fiberworks Fiber Club and share what I’ve been knitting lately. Also, I need some help with the chart on the shawl I’m knitting; I just can’t make sense of the stitch count! And I announce the winner of the giveaway for the Coffee with C.C. (and Dami Too) ebook.

In this episode, I share my adventure at the North Texas Teen Book Festival as well as some good books I’ve been reading lately. I also share the finished shawl I had been working on and the realization I had upon blocking the shawl. I have several projects I’ve been knitting (two new ones!) that I discuss and a little bit of stashing (project bag, not yarn). I also review the new knitting pattern collection from JavaPurl Designs: Coffee with C.C. (and Dami Too) and announce a giveaway for a PDF of the book. Speaking of giveaways, I choose the winner of the giveaway for the laceweight yarn, so be sure to watch to find out if you won!

In this episode, I’m wondering if you’re pondering what I’m pondering. What would I find to talk about if I had been knitting on only one project for the past two weeks? Apparently still quite a bit! Lots of exciting things going on with other designers using my yarn; I share pictures and pre-order information for two books, one for knitting and one for crochet. I give you an update on the progress for the shawl for my book as well as a reveal for one of the other book patterns. Inspired by someone who filmed her opening of a yarn club package, I open a fiber club package on camera. Oh, and I announce a little giveaway.

In this episode, I talk about the TV show Supernatural as well as a couple of other shows. For knitting, I talk about why I need to rip out a shawl project currently on the needles. I share the newest self-striping yarn color for Round Table Yarns. And I spend the bulk of the episode talking about my book project, which is close to having all the samples finished. I even show you two of them! (For more info on the book project, make sure you’re signed up for my mailing list.)
