In this episode, I share my favorite project of 2016 and thoughts on character-driven sci fi. I’ve made a little progress on some of my current knitting WIPs, I’ve been doing a lot of dyeing, and I’ve added a bit to my stash. I also have a new shawl pattern release and some updates on the book I’m currently working on. And in the what I’m reading section, I talk about pre-ordering books that then show up on your Kindle when they’re released: kinda like a gift from your past self to your future self. (Come to think of it, a yarn club is kinda like that, too!)

This is not a normal episode of the podcast. If you are here to watch me talk about yarn and knitting, I don’t do that in this episode. I lost my cat, Merlin, this week, and I’m just not quite ready for the knitting talk, but I wanted to share my memories of Merlin, so that’s mostly what I do in this episode. And I do also have something to say about the U.S. election: It is NOT okay to be a bully.

This was a hard episode to record, and I’m sure it won’t be easy to watch. Thank you in advance if you do decide to watch it.
