There’s no denying that life can be challenging. At times it can be so complicated that you feel like your spirit is broken—like bits of yourself have been scattered across a long-forgotten terrain, and there's nothing you can do to find them.
Maybe these pieces have been missing for so long that you aren't quite sure what it is that is missing, but the gaping hole within you is very real, and it won't go away. At the moment, you might be stuck in your own head, but believe it or not, there is hope for you to set out and retrieve these missing bits of yourself as if you would a lost item.
In this episode, Brittany Harder shares her own story about a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, how it broke her down and led her to the different modalities she uses to help others. Brittany has a Ph.D. in sociology specializing in medical sociology, race, ethnicity, and immigration studies. She is also a certified holistic health practitioner and a certified meditation teacher. Get ready to sit with yourself and heal in ways you haven’t imagined!

Do you feel like the real-life Piglet from Winnie the Pooh? You find yourself picking at your cuticles in every interaction, thinking, “Oh, D-D-Dear!”. You are so consumed with your fears and anxiety that you can’t even imagine a life where you can be worry-free and willing to try new things without a doomsday action plan.
Maybe you are yearning for the peace, contentment and joy that come with living a life without fear or stress? It might be hard to believe, but even the most confident and seemingly fearless people in the world had to start somewhere!
In this episode, Corinne Zupko, author of the best-selling and award-winning book From Anxiety to Love, shares her own experience of living a life of crippling panic attacks and bouts of depression. She had suffered from anxiety for many years, scared to take any big steps in life, but then she made a single decision that changed everything—she chose to confront her fears and face her inner demons head-on.

You know what they say: the family that celebrates together stays together. But what if you're single and celebrating solo this holiday season? This can be a difficult time of the year to turn up Beyonce’s Single Ladies when your Aunt Greta is raising an eyebrow to your bare ring finger.
Maybe you are the person who's been chronically single and desperately wants the Etsy commercial in the pictures, the engagement on the special day or to be able to celebrate with people, but it's just not there.
In this episode, Veronica Cisneros is here to empower those of us who are single to set boundaries that allow us to embrace our independence and feel as warm as that hot chocolate we are sipping on alone. Let’s face it, dealing with family over the holiday season can be tricky. You all have your differences and, for some families, navigating these differences is becoming harder each year. With constant bickering and arguments about every little detail from dinner to gifts and general feelings of unease or upset weighing down the festivities – when do we draw the line?
Maybe you are wondering if there is ever a scenario where putting yourself first is acceptable, even if that includes going against expectations placed upon you by family members and existing traditions. The answer – yes!
In this episode, Nicole, an esthetician and owner of Waxology Skin Spa, shares how it felt sweeping up the eggshells she was walking on when faced with such tricky family dynamics, and provides insight on reclaiming control over happiness this holiday season. Some holiday traditions are here to stay, but get ready to cut ties with those relatives who have taken up permanent residence in the realm of toxicity!

It's that time of year again! Time to dust off the holiday decorations, put on your best smile, and pretend like everything is okay. The reality is, for many of us, the holidays are anything but cheerful. This season can be especially difficult if you're grieving the loss of a loved one and having to carry on the traditions that carry reminders that feel like a punch to the gut.
This time of year is challenging for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. The holiday season can feel like an endless parade of obligations, gatherings, and reminders of what once was. For many people, coping with grief and loss during the holidays is made even more difficult by the overwhelming sense of sadness and isolation.
In this episode, I chat with Debi Frankle, a self proclaimed grief nerd who has known a lot of dead people over her lifetime. It is possible to get through this difficult time, and Debi shares tips to help you navigate the holidays without losing your mind (or your temper in the baking aisle).

There are a lot of four-letter words that come to mind when it comes to thinking about holiday dinners with the family. Worry not, in this episode we only focus on one of them…food.
The holidays are right around the corner, and that means there’s food and lots of it. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, there seems to be a never-ending parade of pies, cookies, and other delicious treats. What do you do if you're trying to stay in control of your eating habits?
If you are ready to come out of the holiday dinners feeling good about yourself and not pants-unbuttoned-turkey-tired, this episode is for you!

There are two types of people in the world, someone who watches Bravo for the escalating drama and me, a therapist who wants nothing more than to be connected with Andy Cohen and an opportunity to sit down with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to dive into their issues.
While I wait for that golden opportunity, join me in this episode where I spew spoilers on dissociation, overcorrecting silence, and the latest juicy, totally Bravo-worthy, T-Talk update!

Often, people-pleasing and perfectionism go hand in hand. The need to be perfect stems from a fear of not being good enough or disapproval from others. While nothing is inherently wrong with wanting to do our best, when we become wrapped up in trying to please others or achieve perfection, we can lose sight of what is truly important to us.
There are many things in this world that you can't control, but your response to it is one thing you always have a choice in. This episode is for you if the need to please and be perfect is becoming debilitating.
In this episode, I chat with Montoya McGowan, a therapist and the owner of Stopping the Chase Counseling and Consulting, about how the “rescuers” become the problem solvers and do it to the point where they are no longer putting themselves on this list. Stop being a Jesus Jr., and listen in!

Is there something about talking openly and honestly about money that just feels a bit cringe-worthy? We often think of money as a taboo topic, one that's best left unspoken. But if we're going to be truly successful in our lives, we need to talk about money – how we make it, save it, and spend it.
If you are ready to get your cue the cringe…but also the learning and dive into the topics that are normally untouched, this episode is for you.
In this episode, I chat with Nichole Taylor about the cringe-worthy topics of money and mental health and how you can change your mindset to have more discussions that will reveal opportunities for growth.
