More on Documenting and not creating to increase the speed of your content. This is about my trip to find that dreaded cord YOU NEED for the Rode Wireless Go II mics. They don’t tell you and it comes as a surprise. It was quite an adventure and I need them before I leave for Mexico! I want to interview people there. A funny story on Cults er…Culture. I believe that FaceBook live has a glitch when you use an external mic. Here is my checklist for when you go FB Live to make sure no errors. 1) Make sure you check post to story. 2) Make sure you check audience “All” or public. 3) Check your monitor mix. I.e. make sure the mic is working. 4) clean your lens.

Or more specifically the four things I learned going live on facebook with an external mic. I went live 4 times in the last 3 days and three of them were a couple disaster. But first I had a backlog of 10 or 20 episodes and I was inspired to bleed them all off. To get more real time. A goal of mine is to inspire you to publish consistently and to take the messy action. I’ve gotten some clarity on who I want to speak to. Narrowing down my audience. Here you go #1) Have a checklist. Number one on my check list is: Check the monitor mix! #2) Make sure you are going live to “Public”. The 3 out of four Facebook Live implosions. #3) I love the lives! #4) it is good practice for when you start doing your webinars and sales presentations.

The importance of speed of content! Start to get content out there. It’s a data point so you can start to learn. Take on the identity of the learner. I’ll wonder is the clip overproduced? Or is it to stripped down. Don’t over think it. Just push it out and collect the data. Don’t take stuff personally. I am just trying to learn. By speed of putting it out there I’m increasing the speed of how everything works. Pump the content out for speed! Once I quit worrying about what my two best friends thought the floodgates of content opened.

Document don’t create pt #4. I get clarity on HOW TO document and not create. Turns out I love playing with, editing, and crafting the story. If you have Summit Interviews you need sliced and diced and turned into clips that you can push out on the social media I can do that for you. If you need testimonials scheduled, recorded and edited, I can do that for you. I’m intrigued by this idea of creating short form stories that create engagement and create an action at the end. I can chop up a testimonial that I produced for someone into the little mini clips and use it as my own testimonial of what I'm doing. And the customer is happy because I’m in effect pushing it out for them. Win Win Win

Document don't create part three or four of let's track, pretend it's a different day. It's not as sunny out, I have a different ponytail. Perhaps I've shaved off my would you call them lamb chops? And say get a say. I'm going to talk more about document creating and document don't create. That way. The purpose of documenting and not creating is so we can pump out more content. There's two things I want to talk about an epiphany I had about how I can document what I'm doing now to have more content where it's been a struggle for me or a question. I'm like, I don't really understand this document don't create thing. So I'm going to talk about that. And then the other thing is, what was the other one? Can't remember. It'll come to me. Okay. Listening, make it through the intro. I'll be right back.
Mischa Zvegintzov
Okay, I hope you enjoyed the intro. If you're watching the video, I love that bow. It's so fun. It's like five seconds or four seconds or two, or whatever it is, I think it's so fun. If you're listening in podcast land, it's a much. It's a 32nd. I explained the table rush. Anyway, the other open loop I have for you is the importance of documenting and not creating for speed of having lots of content to put out there, and why that can be so good. And there's different thoughts on it. But I'm going to address that on the next episode. So subscribe, so you'll get the update. Again, this speaks to the power of batch recording. So I'm repurposing all these video clips. Right? So I interview I'm for a client I have now I'm repurposing her interviews. And then I'm also repurposing a testimonial for somebody. So I'm editing it down, creating the nice little testimonial. I'm editing down this person summit interviews, if you have summit interviews, and you want me to repurpose those for you and create content that you can splash out on the social media, I can totally do it. Just my emails in the in the notes, so click on that, send me an email, we'll see if we can sort something out. But I'm, I'm I'm, I was feeling overwhelmed. And I was like, gosh, this is taking some work that I love. So I love playing with editing and crafting the story and taking out the the unnecessary stuff. Just so fun for me. I'm not sure why I like like it so much. But I do. I guess I'm intrigued by this idea of creating engaging, short form stories that create engagement and create an action, like, create this content, create an action at the end. And that action can be tons of different things.
Mischa Zvegintzov
So as I'm editing this testimonial last night and got it came out so good, I just was watching this testimonial going, Oh my God, what an amazing story. What an amazing job I did interviewing it, interviewing this person. And then what an amazing job of editing it. And I have to do next for the other client is chop up one of our interviews that are some of the interviews. That's going to be fun, because it's going to be something outside of what I've started on the creation process, right. In other words, someone's giving me the interview that they made the video that they made for their summit. And then I'm going to slice and dice it. So this is going to be very interesting for me, it's gonna be fun to see how I can tell her story with her video. I thought I was like it hit me. I was like, Oh my gosh, I can this testimonial that I've created for them. And effect. I can chop that up into the little mini clips and use it as my own testimonial of what I'm doing. Like this is the documentation of what I'm doing. So I can say, hey, I created I can put captions on there, instead of putting the captions of what the person is saying. I can put my captions on there saying, Hey, I created this awesome testimonial for these two people, I can do it for you. I can set up the I can schedule the interview, I can do the interview, and then I can chop it up into one nice little five minute testimonial and then I can repurpose that into you know, five or so mini clips that you can splash out on the social media and documenting. I'm documenting what I'm doing with the content that I already created with just a little extra tweak. Such a powerful epiphany for me. Right so because I was like, Oh my gosh, it's I've been creating seven. I'm in the middle of this posting a video.
Mischa Zvegintzov
One of these many clips pushing it out across all the channels, except for LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, I haven't added those into the queue yet, but I can't wait to thanks for hanging in there with me as I'm talking through this, but of course created, I've worked for a few hours on one interview created all these clips of my own. And then I've got that content for the week. And so as I was editing this other content for the client, I was like, How is this all gonna fit together? And I'm like, Oh, my gosh, this is amazing. The I can just repurpose that content and push it out as documentation of what I'm doing. And the customers I'm doing it for are going to be super happy because I'm in effect, advertising for them. How amazing is that? Like massive epiphany. So I'm super excited about that. If you have an interest in having me repurpose some of your interviews, that you've done with people to for a summit or for a challenge or for testimonials, and you want to repurpose it and push it out the same time, have me push it out for you, on what through my channels. Reach out to me, I'm so excited. This is so fun, as this is all coming together. And then if you want to get some testimonials, but you're so busy that that you don't have time. But you see the value in paying somebody like me, I'm super Calendly efficient. I will get the emotional engagement on that testimonial that you want. Even if your Lamborghini guy I'm sorry, no way. Well, I'm at DADGAD. And no judgment, by the way, as I said from a place of non judgment, but anyway, again, if you would like somebody to help you set up the testimonial, interview the person, ie record the testimonial, edit it down to a nice little five minute clip, and then break that out into the mini clips so that you can push it out over the social media. And then at the same point, I'm going to use it as testimony of what I'm up to documenting what I'm doing. So you'll get free exposure to my audience. Reach out to me, maybe we can work something out. Okay, the next episode is going to be the importance of the speed. What what pumping out a lot of content can do for you over and above. Just you know creating looks likes and follows because there's a lot more benefits from it. Okay, listening next episode coming

I watched a Kathryn Jones clip. The gist of it, the people that can tell a story in a minute or less with a video clip are the hardest for marketing companies to find right now. I’m trying to tell the story with a 5 to 7 small clips. I had an opportunity to produce and direct a testimonial for someone and it came out awesome! Start using Calendly! Case studies and testimonials are hard for people to get. I can help you get your heart centered testimonials!

Part Three document don't create. Which could also just be called a status update. By the way, this is super valuable. Anybody who's paying attention should get ideas on how to create content or be able to monetize some of their efforts. Doing what you love and are having fun with. Right now I'm having a ton of fun interviewing and recording content, and then chopping that content up. Trying to create tell the story in as short a time as possible. And then push that little story out over the interweb over the social media. And Catherine Jones, does anybody know Catherine Jones? I watched this Catherine Jones presentation, Catherine Jones is an awesome funnel design creator. She makes awesome funnels teaches people how to design engaging, how to tell the story with a funnel, to get somebody to engage and buy, hopefully, right. And Catherine Jones is a master at it. So she has courses you can go check him out. Catherine Jones. Hey, Catherine, if you happen to see this, everybody's subscribed. YouTube, Catherine. But Catherine Jones she gave this presentation, Funnel Hacking live 2021 I was there. I think it was that one. I don't know I've lost track. Everything is getting so fuzzy. In a good way, like all so much is happening so much good stuff.
Mischa Zvegintzov
But Catherine Jones Show this clip of this very successful. We're talking like 100 million dollar successful type of a person who said the people that we are trying to hire right now that are most important for us that are the hardest for us to find. Are the people that can tell a story in a minute or less with a video clip. So the people who can learn how to tell a story with short form video, or the shortest form video. Tic TOCs got 123 minutes in go short as you want. I heard of a tic TOCs going to five minutes to compete even more with YouTube. What we've got, you know, reels, shorts, stories. Yeah. So being able to tell a story without my idea is to be able to tell the story with five of the little clips. So you create an arc of five to seven clips to pull somebody in. And then you've got your call to action. Call to action at the end, like call to action along the way, but a serious call to action at the end. And it's been fun to go through that process.
Mischa Zvegintzov
Where am I going anyway? I'm gonna do one more loop. Nope, I've done enough loops over their last track. It's one of those mornings. Holy mackerel, it's one of those mornings super fuzzy took me a while to get to gather momentum.
Mischa Zvegintzov
So yeah, it's it's very important to in this market to learn how to tell a story in a short time as possible. And this is for a story to create an action and that action can be lots of different things. So hook story offer Russell Bronson's framework hook story offer. So my idea is take these interviews, take these things, take these stories, turn them into five to seven parts and try and grab somebody so they want to watch all five to seven of your clips, and then they'll take whatever action you want at the end, which could be subscribe by etc, etc. Unlimited things look like follow
Mischa Zvegintzov
Where was I going with this? Oh, so this is where I was going with this. Another success I had was I, somebody was wanting to get a testimonial. Someone came to me and said, Hey, someone wants me to make a testimonial for him. You love doing videos and you're interviewing and doing all this stuff? Will you make this testimonial with me? Will you help me? I was like, Absolutely, I will do this testimony, I'll record it. I'll slice it and dice it. And then I will get it to said person who wanted your testimonial. And I went to the Calendly, you've heard me talk about Calendly, like schedule, start scheduling things on Calendly. If you're not, it just makes it so efficient. You don't have to go back and forth. Especially if it's business related or professionally related, again, on Calendly, or a like, calendar schedule. They're so powerful. I talk to people who are super successful. And my eyes like they have created really powerful businesses. But they're kind of old school. So they still haven't embraced the calendar functionality. And I'm always amazed. I am amazed. I'm like what? That seems like the most basic thing you should be doing. So I said, Okay, let's make it official. I send them a Calendly. We set it up via Calendly. I recorded it, I referenced I used the MV 88 Plus mic, which is Shures. Video application, it's geared towards a video application. And sound came out awesome. And so I'm creating all these clips, I was editing it last night. And I had a massive document don't create inspirational moment.
Mischa Zvegintzov
But nonetheless, I'm going to try and weave around back to that hang in there with me Be patient with me. It hit me that you know case studies and testimonials are so important. And a lot of people are bashful about getting them don't know how to get them maybe don't know the questions to ask. But I created a method for asking the testimonial that creates a story arc with a testimonial. And so I used it on my buddy. I added it up last night it came out awesome. I'm like, oh my god, this is awesome. It's so awesome, heartfelt, poignant. Like it's so good. It could be that I just know all the parties, but it hit me. People need help getting their testimonials. And so I can help you, you get your testimonials. Like if you literally swallow do for you. If you want me to you give me a list of your five or 10 people that you think would be awesome testimonials. I will reach out to them for you in your name. I mean, it'll come from me, but I'll say I'm representing you. And I want to set up a testimonial. And I'll record it. And I'll edit it up. And I'll give it back to you. Dear watcher listener right now. I'm gonna charge you for it. But I'll do it for you. And we know how powerful testimonials are for the sales process. And listen, I'm a heart centered guy. So I'm gonna ask good questions. And I'm gonna suss out the the good stuff. So, if you're keep that in mind, if you're a Lamborghini guy, and you're, you're selling the shiny object. And I say this with love. I'm just saying, I'm looking at I got a ponytail. Keep that in mind. Like you're not gonna go hey, I started working with blah, blah, blah. And now I have stacks of money and it's all about money and lala land success. Right, which is great. I want money. I want success. Well, I'm open to it. I've let go of attachment to it. I think you get what I'm saying.
Mischa Zvegintzov
You know what, I'll help you. I'll try. It's gonna cost You get what I'm saying. So I had that massive epiphany of I can help people get testimonials. And they'll be awesome. And I'll edit them up and give you amazing content, testimonial content that you can splash out across the social media channels. And, hey, maybe you're watching this, and you like recording people and you like doing that and you'd like slicing and dicing content. You could do the same thing. Right? What an awesome little idea. I'm sure people are out there doing it. Okay, that's enough here. I've gone well past my eight minutes and I met 10 minutes and 45 seconds, but I'm going to open a loop for you. So I have this amazing I got these amazing epiphanies because I was feeling overworked and overwhelmed. I was like, Oh my gosh, I get how the document don't create in regards to all this video stuff that I'm doing where it's gonna be awesome, and I just I'm so excited. I'm going to talk about it the next episode. Alright, love to all
