We have a very candid conversation about the importance of taking full responsibility of your pregnancy and birth, the illusion of safety, and how to mindfully choose your birth support if you desire it. So often, women outsource for their birth because that’s what society tells you you “have to do” and it seems to be the safest option to most people; however this is simply an illusion because even the most experienced care provider cannot ultimately control the outcome of your birth. Not only that, but oftentimes the people we invite into our birth space end up interfering in a way that disturbs birth. Choosing who steps into your birth space is so important.
