Unfortunately, I did not get much time to edit the episode during the week, and there were several edits that were necessary for this one, due to a few connectivity glitches and several interruptions during the course of the recording that I had to fix. Thankfully, the next episode, which is already recorded, had no such issues so, hopefully, that episode will come out sooner.

Brian was unable to join us this week but he will be back, so not to worry. This week we get a decent episode with Al and Morgan running away from the CRM. While finally seeing Al alive and well we were disappointed that we got literally nothing more about the CRM that we were hoping for. I don't know what the showrunners are doing but we need more. This would have been the perfect episode to give us that info but it just fell flat. But, we do get a happy ending for Al and Isabelle but will we see them again? That we do not know and if we do it's probably not going to be good knowing that the CRM on right on their trail.

For this episode 88 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian, and LT talk through Season 7 Episode 5 of Fear the Walking Dead, titled Till Death, which was written by Justin Boyd & Ashley Cardiff directed by Lennie James. We also discuss The World Beyond Season 2 Episode 7, Blood and Lies.

This was a more humorous episode that brought us a new character Mickey 'The Bride' who escaped from the cage of Strand only to be found by the Dark Horses, aka Dwight and Sherry. That was the basis of this episode but there were some unsettling developments on where Strand is with his dictatorial new style in rebuilding his civilization. Some of us didn't like seeing the Negan-like connection but it's interesting to see this kind of development coming out of Strand. He's not what we would think of as a cold-blooded killer but it seems that day has changed.

This is where we meet Mickey. And escapest from The Tower that Strand dangles in front of Dwight and Sherry as a means of entry into his humble abode. This leads to some fun comedic scenes but also some sad outcomes but in the end, we find out, from all the people that the due meet, that Padre seems to be on everyone's mind. That is where we are left by the end of this episode and we hope that means closer to seeing Alicia and her whereabouts.

For this episode 87 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian, and LT talk through Season 7 Episode 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, titled Breathe with Me, which was written by Nazrin Choudhury and David Johnson directed by Tara Nicole Weyr. This was an okay episode in that we got some more character development out of Sarah and possible addition to the show with the bounty hunter's twin brother, but that was about it. There was just so much going on with us seeing that the helicopter possie was okay but the show only gave us like a ‘blink and you miss it’ reunion. Victor is still out there playing the commander of the Strandians and it looks like he has more of our people in his tower. Also, we still have this unknown group out there but who are they? What do they want? Who are they against? What's with stripping the walkers and then dispersing them about. So many questions and zero answers. Just that they are going to be a threat, but for whom. Victor? Our group?

Again we got great feedback (and a lot of it) from you listeners so keep that up. We like to hear from you and this helps drive our discussion of the episode.

World Beyond was again all over the place. We see that the CRM has some WMD and that they used it against Omaha. But again, for what reason? Jadis revealed that her plan to give Rick over to the CRM was her plan that whole time in TWD. She was creating theatre with the Trash People and that this was all just normal. I beg to differ because that is not what we saw when we were introduced to them on the main show. This show has so little time left and it doesn't look good.

For this episode 86 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian, and LT talk through Season 7 Episode 3 of Fear the Walking Dead, titled Cindy Hawkins, which was written by Nick Bernardone and Jacob Pinion directed by Ron Underwood. We also discuss The World Beyond Season 2 Episode 5, Quatervois.

Everything seemed to be alright with John Sr and June stuck in Teddy's bunker until some earthquakes hit and knocked down all the booze revealing some untold horrors. While this episode had some interesting dynamics between June and John but with masked intruders trying to get in from the outside, ghosts from John Sr’s past caused some tension if not downright horrible decision making that almost cost them their lives. And I would say that was more on John Sr than on June. But what do I know?

Things are resolved in the end and they are saved before those pesky Texas tremors demolished their safe haven and right into the hands of Strand. Morgan isn't going to like that and well, we do see that in the end. The stand off awaits us all.

World Beyond is just being a bit all over the place and they only have so many episodes left. How this is going to pay off in the end we have no idea but it's not looking very good.

For this episode 85 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian, and LT talk through Season 7 Episode 2 of Fear the Walking Dead, titled Six Hours, which was written by co-showrunners Ian Goldberg & Andrew Chambliss and directed by co-executive producer Michael E. Satrazemis. We also discuss The World Beyond Season 2 Episode 4, Family is a Four Letter Word.

This episode was probably one of Karen David's best performances on the show. With the reality of their situation to a comeback from the mental anguish that this nuclear wasteland and Mo's survival. While Kyle didn't like this episode, for other reasons, it does have to state that Karen David carried this episode like a boss. We did get to meet some new people who had baby issues and some great walker effects but there were some complete stretches of the imagination with some of the scenes with this episode. I mean a diesel-powered Pinto? Come on.

There still wasn't any Alicia in this episode since it was a Morgan, Grace, and Mo-centered affair but we got a little more on Padre and that it's a location, but of what.. we will have to wait and see.

We did discuss World Beyond and again, we need this to pay off or otherwise what was the point. Kid show status is still in effect and so we hope, with what episodes they have left that we get some answers.

We're back! Kyle, LT, and I (Brian) talk through Star Trek: Lower Decks S2E10, the season finale, titled First First Contact. This episode was written by showrunner Mike McMahan and directed by Jason Zarek.

Sorry for this coming as late as it did, but we had several things we had to remove, correct and/or edit this time around. As you can see from the length of this episode, we had a lot to talk about. One thing is for sure... We loved it! This episode had a lot going for it.

I think my fatigue and lack of time caught up to me this week because not only did it affect how long it took me to edit this time around, I made several mistakes in the Spot the References section. Thankfully, LT was there to catch several of them. One thing we didn't catch was that there weren't two California-class ships orbiting the planet at the end of the episode (in addition to the Cerritos, of course); there was only one. The other ship was a Parliament-class ship, like the USS Vancouver that was seen last season. That's not that big of a deal, but I don't like making mistakes!

Now that the season of Lower Decks is done, we want to let you know what else is coming on this feed. Lots of Star Trek! First, Kim and James from our Rebinge DS9 podcast will be hosting Star Trek Prodigy, a RebingeIt Podcast, covering the newest animated show, Star Trek Prodigy. If you get this podcast from the Discovery, Picard, or Talk Through Media All-Inclusive Feed, there's nothing for you to do. However, there will be a new feed just for children on that feed that will just be for Prodigy, and we'll have more information on that in the next couple of days. We Are Back! For this episode 84 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian (in limited fashion), and LT talk through Season 7 Episode 1 of Fear the Walking Dead, the season premiere, titled The Beacon, which was written by co-showrunners Ian Goldberg & Andrew Chambliss and directed by co-executive producer Michael E. Satrazemis.

Stand has taken a liking to his new dictatorial style. To his fashion sense decked out in a battle coat, military-style hat, and a sword. Plus he still has his way with words. He's so eloquent right before he kills you. We meet a new survivor named Will who we find out, after a lot of babble, knows Alicia, lived with Alicia, or something like that. Some of us just didn't understand the timeline that was being described by Will and with everyone's reactions to the atomic environment around them. When did the bombs go off? Weeks, Months? Who knows. 

We find out a little info about what Alicia has been up to. But not much. She was with Will at some point, Will did something that got him banished by Alicia, but then when they return to the Bunker at The Franklin everyone is gone but a Murel and a cryptic note left for Will by Alicia. So time will tell when we see Alicia again and Will unfortunately will not get to make the reunion. Poor Will.

We did cover a little of World Beyond the Corduroy Addition but some of us feel that the show is taking some steps back into season one territory. And not in a good way. Let’s just hope they don't do that because it was getting interesting, the characters were getting stronger and we were getting some real intrigue with the CRM. Just don't want it to turn back into the Kid’s show like season one.

We're back! Kyle is out this week, so Brian and LT talk through Star Trek: Lower Decks S2E9, titled wej Duj. This episode was written by Kathryn Lyn and directed by Bob Saurez. Yes, we know this one is late in coming, later than ever.

I would have been better off, in hindsight, doing like I did last week and just released the Patreon episode to all of you, but I wasn't satisfied with the audio quality of that version. Unfortunately, trying to finish this proved impossible. Anyway, no excuses. For the season finale, I'm only going to edit one version of the episode and release it on both feeds. That said, now that it's Monday and I haven't started editing it yet, you probably won't get it until the weekend.

We loved it!

Brian and LT talk through Lower Decks S2E9 titled wej Duj. Showing the Lower Decks of some of the other ships, this was one of the best episodes of the series. The crew gets some downtime before the biomatter hits the plasma manifolds.

I came up with all of the Easter Eggs this time around, but I did have some help, from none other than LT, who corrected me on a few things!
