  • How Physical Health Effects Your Mental & Spiritual Health - with Todd McCullough
I know you are going to love today's episode. I got to sit down with Todd, from TMAC Fitness. We had a great conversation. Not only was I impressed, with Todd's knowledge, but I was also inspired.

You can even actually hear me in the middle of the episode having a revelation of what he was explaining and saying. It doesn't matter where you're at in your physical health, this conversation is so important to listen to.

You get to hear Todd explain what's really happening when you partake in physical activity, your workouts, and how it connects to your mental and spiritual health and your every day. It has an effect on your thought life and your actions, and can even trickle into your work life.

Todd is a former University of Florida football player turned yogi. He loves God and enjoys a steak and a cold beer (who doesn't), and he has lots of resources you can utilize to join him!

  • What Does Passion Look Like?
Welcome back to the show! Today, I'm talking with ME! Me, myself, and I. I haven't done it in awhile and I'm really excited.
Today, I dove into what does passion look like? I actually went into this episode planning on recording something else but felt led elsewhere.
I did share my story with human trafficking, where that came from and where it started. I talked about what passion looks like and how important it is to remain true to you in the midst of your passions. To be your authentic self. We hear that phrase so often.  I want to encourage you to look around and be able to see people doing other things but know what you are supposed to do and then do that.

I hope you friends enjoy this episode. It's straight from the heart, no notes.

  • The Importance of Health as an Entrepreneur - with Kara Elise
Our health plays a HUGE role in our every day and affects every area of our lives. Especially, as an entrepreneur, it's important to take care of our health. This is of course true for those who aren't entrepreneurs as well, but it seems like it's easier for entrepreneurs to get off track because their schedules are usually not routine and set in stone day to day.

In today's episode, I got to chat with Kara Elise, who is a celebrity chef and wellness coach based in LA. She is known for her holistic approach to food and the belief that when we connect to our bodies we unlock our lives. She focuses on teaching people to use food as a tool for connection and healing.

Kara's expertise in hosting, food as nourishment, and curated experiences establish a culture of invitation through designed and welcoming environments. Kara's highest value in life is true connection and she loves curating spaces for people to fully experience what it means to be holistically seen, known, and connected. Kara has cooked for clients all over the world, and creates an experience around food that reminds us what it truly means to be nourished.

I love how Kara uses food as a tool for connection and how she steward's all she does towards bringing others together. I learned a lot and was reminded of really important things that effect our lives daily. Our health is important friends, so lean in and get ready to hear from the celebrity chef herself.

  • Emotional Courage: The Solution to Everything - with Brenda Lomeli
This episode I absolutely loved. We honestly had such a difficult time recording it. We had interruptions, we had disconnections, rescheduling, all the things. And I think I know why; it's because it is SUCH a good episode! We both were very committed to getting it recorded because we knew someone out there did not want it recorded.

Honestly, you're going to here me gush over her. As I do with a lot of my guests, but seriously - I have never taken so many notes.

This conversation with Brenda Lomeli was so good, so eye opening. There is so many things that Brenda said that I was like, "Yes! That is it!" I'm really excited for you friends to hear it.

She's all about Emotional Courage and we're going to dive into exactly what that means and how to walk that out. Make sure you get a pen and paper ready! You may need to listen a couple times. Brenda drops some one liners that left me mind-blown and her explanations were incredible.

  • Developing the Confidence to Pursue Your Dreams/Goals - with Ceri Payne
Usually the hardest part about going after your dreams and goals isn't figuring out what they are, it's taking steps forward and pursuing them. We can often feel like we don't have what it takes to accomplish them so we remain frozen.

I got to chat with Ceri Payne about how to develop the confidence to pursue your dreams and goals. This topic is one of my favorites because I am all about encouraging others to start and take that first step towards your dreams. The first step seems to be the hardest, but once you take it, the next ones come easier.

Ceri has been married for 21 years and is the mom to three teenage girls - 14, 16, and 17. So yeah, she's a rockstar.

She has a master's degree in education and taught special education for many years. In 2018 she became a Certified Life Coach through The Life Coach School. While finishing up her last year of teaching, Ceri created her successful coaching practice. She coaches mompreneurs, helping them organize their time, schedules and mind, so they can create balance and confidence which helps them grow their business and their motherhood without sacrificing the things they value most.

  • Human Trafficking: The Mission - with Blythe Hill
If you tuned into last week's episode, (which if you haven't, definitely go listen to that one first HERE) I got to sit down and have an amazing conversation with my brother-in-law, about what it looks like to not only raise awareness but also to take action on that awareness. Something we are both passionate about, something we truly believe is needed, and everyone can do.

So this week, I dove into a specific topic that a lot of awareness is being raised about. I got to sit down with someone who is doing it and has been doing it for years. Blythe Hill is the CEO and Founder of the Dressember Foundation, an anti-trafficking nonprofit organization.

Ending human trafficking has been a hot topic, which I am SO thankful for. My family and I actually just launched a nonprofit to fight human trafficking. (You can see more HERE.) That's why this conversation got me so excited. Blythe and I really dove in to what that looks like.

Specifically for Blythe and her Dressember Foundation, through their annual campaign, thousands of people across the world commit to wearing dresses or ties for the month of December as a way to raise awareness and funding for anti-trafficking work. Since 2013, Dressember advocates have raise $10 Million dollars USD and resourced dozens of anti-trafficking programs across the U.S. and the world. Dressember has received press attention from the likes of Forbes, Glamour, InStyle, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, the TODAY show, among others. In 2019, Blythe was named one of InStyle's 50 Badass Women, alongside powerhouse ladies like Michelle Obama, Christine Blasey Ford, Angela Davis, and Gayle King. Blythe currently lives in Seattle with her husband, son, and their dog, Friday. She loves a good red wine, a good cheese, and clearly, a good pun.

I absolutely adored this conversation. You get an inside scoop and front row to someone who is actually out on the field fighting this. It's more than just statistics, it's more than just what you see shared over and over, it's an actual person out in the field doing the work and what that looks like. I cannot wait for you to hear this. I hope it inspires you to take action and go for it!

  • Raising Awareness & Taking Action - with Javier Mendoza
This conversation is near and dear to my heart for many reasons. For one, I got to chat with my brother-in-law, Javier Mendoza, who I love so much and who constantly teaches me so much. The topic is also near and dear to my heart and it's one I believe is so important to have.

I find it's getting harder and harder for people to agree on things. But one thing we can agree on, is that raising awareness for needs around the world is absolutely necessary. Because we need to come together and meet these needs.

Together with his wife, Danielle Mendoza, Javier has been leading mission trips since 2004 and upon it’s founding in 2009 has been instrumental in building Connect Global, a worldwide organization built on providing sustainable solutions to solvable problems like poverty, hunger, lack of education, and lack of clean drinking water.

In addition to bringing awareness to issues like Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Javier is committed to sharing the Love of Jesus in practical ways around the world by speaking, teaching, and through various mission trips and outreach efforts over the years in Haiti, Jamaica, Honduras, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, South Dakota, and Texas.

Along with their daughter Saige, the Mendoza Family has called La Ceiba, Honduras Home since January 2020.

As Co Founder of Connect Global Javier has the privilege of working alongside family and close friends documenting, tailoring and communicating the message of the organization while honing the global vision to share the Good News of Jesus around the world and help others do the same.

Javier has received Advanced Training in Leadership through the National Institute of Christian Leadership with Dr. Mark Rutland, and is a Certified Trainer in Missions through Go To Nations with Dr. Jerry Williamson.
