We talk about how this album isn't talked about as much as the bands other stuff and the dark stuff Billie Joe was writing about on this album. This is Tool’s first album in 13 years and man did we dive into it. Matthew comes on to tell us about a very important album to him, Dub 56 by The Toasters. We talk about how fun this album is, especially with it's instrumentation. But there are deep messages in some of the songs. This discussion has go on tangents about the Beatles, being under the influence at concerts, and so much more. Let's just say that Matt has been waiting for this episode for awhile since U2 is his favorite band. We talk about about the album and it's great lyrics, the themes, and religious undertones that are represented on the album. It's also getting us talking about our lives because of the subject matter of most of these songs. It shows that sometimes albums can be more then just music and it can be a part of who you are.
