Beth talks to us about one of her favorite albums from her youth Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? by The Cranberries. Beth was 16 when this album came out and she tells us verbatim the moment she bought it, listened to it, and fell in love with it. She tells us about how this album really connected with her in the time it came out. We talk about the album and how some of the songs on here are still very huge in popular culture. This also gets us talking about all of us growing up and the stuff we're working on and how we're trying to better ourselves. It was such a lovely chat and I hope you enjoy it

    The Goons are very excited to have on their first band on the podcast The Shadows! The Shadows have been around for generations and have been entertaining for generations. The Shadows talk to us about a lot of their famous tour, like their famous live album from Moscow. They also tell us about the work they did with Tony Robbins and the beef they had with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're so awesome that they even played us some of their songs, one of which is a goons personal favorite.     The Goons welcome their guest Ryan Canty to the show! Ryan talks to us about one of his favorite albums, Bitter by Me'Shell Ndegeocello. We were excited to talk about this one, because neither of us heard about the album or artist. Ryan talks to us about how she was a session musician for awhile, is a composer now, and had a strong friendship with Prince. Alex is getting slowly into Pink Floyd, but Matt and Mike have been fans for a while. Going through the album they talk about how it influenced their sound and other bands sound in general. Also, we give lots of well deserved praise to David Gilmour. Mike talks to us about what drew him to Pink Floyd and how it really helped him in his life when he got into them and why they're still one of his favorite bands.
