Boone is from Dubuque, IA and wrestled for Dubuque Wahlert. After having success on the youth circuit, Boone actually quit wrestling briefly during middle school. He went back out in high school and finished 3rd as a junior and 1st as a senior. Out of high school, Boone went to Iowa Central Community College and proceeded to dominate his way to a JUCO national title. Boone transferred to Rutgers University and quickly became a fan favorite. Heading into his final year of eligibility, Boone made the decision to transfer to Oregon State University and compete for the Beavers. No doubt he’ll become a fan favorite there, too!
