Chase grew up in Monticello, Iowa and was a 3x state placewinner for the Panthers. He moved on to wrestle for Head Coach Heath Grimm and Upper Iowa University. Chase recently won the 165-pound DII national title. I talked to Chase early on in the season, so this will give you a glimpse into how he got things rolling and what it took to get to this point in his wrestling career.
