If you’re looking for someone to root for this week as nationals gets underway, look no further than this guy, Clay Carlson. Clay wrestles 141 pounds for South Dakota State and is the 11 seed going into nationals. He was an All-American in 2021, finishing 8th. Clay is currently a graduate student and also has the unique ability to yodel a tune or two! One of his coaches calls him a “special kid” and there’s no doubt you’ll agree after listening to him.
